What a fucked up and messy game. Lawro was closer in his predictions than all of you who were cursing him.

It really pisses me off when the likes of Davies and Wanyama trying long range shots when there are better options.

John O'shea Dembele my MOTM

Dembele probably best today, none getting MoM though. God Sunderland is a pile of turds.

I expected Men against Boys.

With Rose getting injured and Sunderland getting their tactics right, instead we got Ben against Moyes.

And it was bloody shocking.

I'm probably being unfair but, at the moment, I'm going none deserved.

Attack showed up expecting to win today. Son the only one to show real effort. Wanyama or Dembele my MOTM. What happened to pressing from the front? Not a sign of it anywhere.

Kaboul Motm for scoring a great free kick against Arsenal

Indeed, I think Vorm, the CBs and Dembele did ok. Sometimes you cannot blame your CB for not scoring goals and no significant performance because your opponent parks the bus

Very poor performance. Little effort shown. Dembele probably MOTM.

Not sure why Poch is waiting until 85 minutes to bring Janssen on...surely this is the type of game he would fit right in for. We know Sissoko is not going to change a thing or make anything amazing happen...at least Big Vinny offers something different. And finally maybe a bit of confidence after getting the goal and an assist at the weekend.

Just don't get it...

I think he is affected by the tripper accident. But I think Janssen or Winks should come off earlier

Vorm, Alderweireld, Dier, Walker, Rose and Davies -3

The rest - 2.

Defenders got a bonus point as they kept a clean sheet.

What is so disappointing is the options we have on the bench. I really hate to say it but I had no faith in either sissoko or Jansen (before they came in) as options when we were clearly struggling.

However you dress it up, sissoko is sadly not a 30mil player.

I don't want to bash him but these are the nights where your subs make a difference and it was clear that poch had no faith in his bench.

Dembele, walker and big vic were above average, the rest need to have a long hard look at themselves. Just did not want to be there by the looks of them.

So glad we rested everyone for this (y)

None deserved after this dreadful performance. The corner flag deserves it more. It would have been more fun to watch paint dry than watching this game.

Edit: Dembele and Wanyama tried. The rest should be ashamed.

Dembele and Wanyama the best players but still not worth the MotM.

Everyone was on a stroll up. We basically went for a 90 minute jog.

Dreadful first half where we lacked any cohesion or direction. In control second half but what use is all that possession if you create the square route of fuck all? Yes, Sunderland had no ambition and everyone behind the ball but our lack of imagination was concerning.

Vorm had little to do but was fine when called upon.

Walker was one of our more positive players and drove the ball upfield well.

Dier was fine, used his pace well.

Toby was dependable as ever, decent passing out.

Rose was committed as ever but suffered for it and came off early, hope he's okay.

Wanyama was my man of the match. Wrecking ball when needs be, held the ball well, neat passing.

Dembele looks a touch off the last couple of games and it continued tonight. He was generally okay but didn't dominate the way he can.

Eriksen was involved and probed constantly but couldn't find that incisive moment.

Dele was poor, not involved enough and struggled against a deep back line.

Son probably had the most opportunity to affect things but an array of awful decision making, poor touches and lack of awareness meant it came to nothing,

Kane was dreadful first half, uninvolved and ineffective. He got involved more second half but never managed to threaten their goal.

Davies put in a few nice crosses but was caught on his heels more than once defensively.

Sissoko will want to forget this clumsy, uncomposed, directionless cameo.

Janssen had little time to make an impact and, predictably, he didn't.
