Sissoko is absolutely without any redeeming quality. Dembele has regressed to his former mean. Kane has gone off the boil. This season is in danger of imploding. This loss could be very damaging as we seem to be in a funk.

Abolute awful performance, the players should feel embarrassed.
We have been outplayed by a team 8th in the Belgian league - fucking embarrassing.
Correction: by a team wanting the win more than us.

Time for Poch to earn his big money and put a few rockets up the backsides of most of our squad

Still time to save our season

Yes of course it is, it's always about us and never about the opposition is it.

This is why people don't have any perspective, it's astounding.

Do you honestly believe that we should consistently be losing or drawing to the sides? And putting in such performances?

And incidentally the common denominator of years and years of shit performances in Europe IS US. So yes, it is about us.

I guess this is what "being out of form" looks like. No coordination, no ability to keep the ball under pressure, imprecision in passing throughout the side, lack of movement up front and one key moment of sloppy defending undoing an otherwise competent back-line performance.

Gent played with considerable fire and passion, but no great skill or creativity. They weren't really that good, they just worked incredibly hard. But we had no idea how to construct any kind of attacking moves. As at Liverpool, our midfield could not control the game, with the exception of the 10 minutes leading up to the goal.

I haven't read the thread. I'm sure it's full of people attacking individual players for the "errors" that cost us the match, but this wasn't about errors, it was about a collective lack of urgency and vision. I think our midfielders got caught in possession more than 30 times in the course of the match. I lost count after about 20. That's just unacceptable.

Winks played well. Alderweireld did some good things in the first half. Walker tried hard, once he bothered to attack in the second half, but never really got free enough to deliver a quality ball. No one else contributed anything at all. The subs were nearly invisible, except for Eriksen lashing the ball over the ball twice.

We didn't trouble their goalkeeper. How bad is that?

NIL POINTS TO ALL........the end. Anyone who thinks a single player came out of that with any pride is deluding themselves. That was an utter shower of crap from a load of players who had no idea what to do, no idea how to play football and zero desire. I am ashamed of my club after that performance.

They are a mid table Belgian team, let that sink in! They are no better than a championship side and we have been humbled and should have lost by more to be honest.

If we continue to play with no pace, no movement, no idea how to defend and zero creativity then we might accept 6th or 7th now! I am disgusted by what I have just watched, all of them should pay for our fans making the trip and be fined a weeks wage!

Nkoudou and Janssen have hardly been given a chance. GKN has played about 36 mins in the league and Janssen's barely played more minutes than Lamela who has been out injured since about October.

Njie wasn't given a chance last season and was loaned out. I don't think they've done enough unfortunately to show they are the answer. I was in the camp of giving Janssen time but he can't even get on the bench for this game (I'm assuming he wasn't injured?) which is a worry.

Sissoko has just been a predictable disaster.

Scrappy goal from a dog shit team. Why do referees seem to have tangible impact on games in Europe. There was no way that was refereed with impartiality.

The ref was poor but we were worse. No excuses for that performance, none whatsoever.

Our away for is genuinely concerning considering we are playing all of next season away.
5 away wins all season I believe (4 league, 1 Cl)

Please tell me I'm wrong, because that is beyond piss poor for a team aspiring to be a CL team.

We have a serious problem with this team and manager, I hope, I am wrong. We better not lose to Fulham.

I think we will though the lack of energy and desire is frightening plus Fulham will fancy it, if I didn't know different I would say something has upset them internally because they are so flat.

Said it Saturday and say it again today - the gulf in talent between the strongest 11 to put out on the pitch and those who come into the side due to injury/suspension is vast.

While the gripes about the ref have some substance let's not overlook how poor Spurs were for all but maybe 10 to 15 minutes of this entire match.

Poch needs to climb into a few and ffs with the way the squad is lined up currently, could Wimmer be any worse than Dier has been over the past few? He really isn't a center back.

So dissapointing.

Onwards to Sunday.

We have become a really boring team to watch.

This season needs to kick into gear sooner rather than later. We could mount a challenge towards two trophies and clinch top 4 but judging by the past 3/4 weeks, looks like we could be stumbling all over the place.

Time for someone to step forward in this squad and pick us up.

This is worse than the Arse score last night so those laughing last night, once again Arse have had the last laugh! and will again when they finish above us again.

Poch will walk in the summer
Poch doesn't seem good enough at the moment either tactically or motivationally. Perhaps Harry is suffering from sleep deprivation! This is a tongue in cheek comment so please no beg reps. I'm as disillusioned as everybody else. Davies is a reasonable back up but that's all; Sissoko isn't even that; he's crap and an utter waste of money.
