That's not my point...My point is that us not finishing above Arsenal were more often than not self inflicted in that period than the supposed 'ability' of Wenger to finish above us which is what I'm referring to.

Don't be daft. The fact that they had a better manager, and in some of those recent years, better players, is why they were able to finish above us. Even the years we had comparable teams, like under Redknapp when we had King, Gallas, Modric, Parker, Bale, VDV, Adebayor they still finished above us, not just because of their players or our failure, but because of the coached ethos of Wenger which has continually seen them achieve higher points than us - even when they were funding a stadium and he had one hand tied behind his back.

The coached ethos of Wenger even though they've continually flopped at the same stage every season, knocked out of the CL at the same stage, blown the title etc...yet somehow Wenger has been genius like in managing to finish above Spurs, that doesn't make any sense. We have blown it by either capitalising on their failings or have simply bottled it which doesn't suggest that it's some genius of Wenger particularly in the last few years which was the initial point, don't really know what your point is in regards to the stadium, they still had a higher wage budget than us during the time when they were in the initial stages of funding their stadium but that's neither here nor there.

No, it is here nor there and is a valid point you make, but so is the fact that Arsenal are the only team of those who have had a consistently bigger wage budget than us that we have not finished above, even when serendipity has stacked the cards slightly in our favour. That is not coincidence. That is consistency on Wenger's part, not just our failure. They are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Any are Cambell and Sanogo listed on the same line? Did they use the wrong font and run out of space? Are they the same player who had a name change half way through his contract? Are they conjoined twins?

I am sure Arsenal fans will be delighted with Iwobi comments:

"I don't think it's fair the way everybody criticises him. It's very unfair considering what he's done.

"He's always achieved fourth place, been in the Champions League and been up there with the title contenders."

He's always achieved fourth place....
