Ive done a little research and I have discovered that if we just win every game we play the rest of the season we will probably win 2 trophies.
So if we score more goals than our opponents in each of our games and Chelsea don't score more goals than their opponents more often than not in their games, do you think maybe we are on to something?

I know its still a slim chance of a title for spurs but still we are the only team that could realistically catch chelsea if they were to slip yet still theres no real meantion or talk of us. I dont think we get the recognition we should considering the comparable budgets and resources and expenditure of all the other top 6.

Makes me angry! Lets smash swansea and pray city beat em. If that happens i think the lads will relish chasing down chelsea of all teams.

We wouldn't have thought Chelsea would lose at home to Palace. If they don't lose to City, or they beat them on Wednesday it doesn't make a difference. All we can do is keep winning our games and hope they slip up SOMEWHERE. It doesn't matter where.

Sometimes you just have to believe that something can be achieved and what a way to sign off from such a magnificent stage our stadium, so yes I believe plus at 7/1 with the bookies I have stuck some money down.(y)

Why get angry? Personally I prefer if the lime light is off us and we can quietly go on with our business. Any wobble on our part would then be less embarrassing

Is it my or do I feel a sense of deja vu! Chelsea games seem to be after ours, they will play catch up, putting the pressure on them.

And maybe everyone else might just give Chelsea a harder time. Because last season everyone just wanted Leicester city to win. Maybe this time around it might be our time. I will luv it lop it (keegan voice) if that happened. Karma you say.

I kinda get that feeling too. We're just not one of the favored 4, or is it 5.

However, it was nice to hear Martin Keown on MOTD say that it was now down to the best two sides this year...

Unfair because they played 1st every week, if they had know we and won before they played it would have put more pressure on them

We need 9 points next 3 games and realistically the best we can hope chelsea get in those 3 games in 5 points

Will put us 3 points behind, same games played with a better GD

It is basically just us with any hope of catching Chelsea then. Only issue is I can't see City getting anything at Chelsea if they play like that. Then again they've got more of a chance than Palace did..

We finished third in a two-horse race last year so irrespective of if City do the job or not we need to keep pushing on because no guarantee we won't finish third and frankly I want to finish as high as possible and try and get a decent CL group.

Also, I would like us to finish strong so we continue our form into next season, imagine winning the FA cup and finishing 2nd? Would be amazing.

Only thing better would be doing the double...

Have to say on Match of the day they said "Chelsea and Spurs are the two best teams in the league" just hearing that made me feel an immense sense of pride for these players and our manager because it really is the truth and we have done it without the budgets of the teams around us, I would go as far to say as, over the last 2 seasons we have been the best team in the league, especially in terms of consistency.

I want Poch to stay with us for years to come, I want him to be our Fergie.

Amazing to think it was only a few years back we had Sherwood and looked like we were about to slam against a brick wall, so proud.

I would hope so after last year and how teams were rolling over for Leicester.

Statistically speaking, draws are essentially random. If they weren't, the old football pools could never have worked. Chelsea have a anomolously low 3 draws so far this season, while our 8 draws are roughly par. Now, if they draw 5 out of their remaining 9 games...

I'm not really thinking about the title. It's great that we're just about in with a shout, but I really can't see Chelsea's form collapsing.

For me it's all about automatic CL qualification and finishing above Arsenal for the first time in years. I know that shouldn't really matter, but it really does. Especially after last season.

It's going to be one hell of a finish, with the added drama of the last ever NLD at the Lane, and our final WHL game being against United. Bring it on!

Agree, but I'd also like to win the FA Cup which we once owned.

Two years in a row, in April, we're one of two teams still in the title race. That is remarkable. Now to finish the season stronger than we did last year and, at least, finish second (and win the cup)!

Imagine if it came down to the last 2 weeks and Chelsea needed Man United to get a result against us...

Judas Mou to the rescue? :D:eek:
