When it comes to any of our first teamers being sold, I think Walker is one I could live with.
He's a great RB don't get me wrong but I feel the money we would command for him could be used to greatly strengthen the squad and the loss could be handled as opposed to some of our more vital players i.e. Kane, Alli, Eriksen.

March 5 - Everton - Walker
March 12 - Millwall - Trippier
March 19 - Southampton - Walker
April 1- Burnley - Trippier
April 5 - Swansea - Walker
April 8 - Watford - Trippier
April 15 - Bournemouth - Walker
April 22 - Chelsea - Trippier
April 26 - Palace - Walker
April 30 - Arsenal - Trippier

I am sensing a pattern here - and its not that Poch is freezing Walker out....

Something isn't right. We know that much.

He even got the Poch 3 minute run about a bit of shame previously afforded to other under performing players.

Edit: although the post above may well show nothing is up at all!

Same as Trippier got the game before?

I hope you're right and there's nothing in this but for me the matches have to be taken in context.

The semi final and the NLD have been the biggest matches of the season, they're the kind of fixtures you rotate around to ensure your best players will be available.

It's very odd that Walker, ostensibly first choice, has been dropped for both. Tripper could have been played consecutively against Watford and Bournemouth if we were intent on rotating the fullbacks, allowing Walker to play in the most important matches. Something is still off about all this.

But will it be Trippier for West Ham then Walker for United to get him back on track for the bigger opponents?

That's a lot of time off for Walker though...

I think it makes a lot of sense the rotation that Poch has them on now. If I had to take Walker for two matches (assuming he is in form), I would prefer West Ham and Leicester (looks to be the current rotation) over United and Hull City.

I think Walker might be unsettled, but I'm confident we'd persuade him to stay - or just refuse to sell him.

For all the speculation it could well be simple rotation from Poch to try and avoid the burnout suffered last year, with the full-backs being the hardest working players in the team.

If Rose was fit it'd be interesting to see if he was doing it on both sides.

A win over Arsenal to seal our finishing above them in the league, AND Kyle Walker dropped from the side with "he might be leaving" rumours swirling amid the confusion? @Bus-Conductor 's glans is going to be rubbed so raw it will resemble Rudolph The Reindeer's nose.

EDIT - not to mention (how could I forget?!) that Mrs Beece was making croquette potatoes. #prayforBCsknob

MP wants the league above all - he might not have played his strongest side in the semi.
And it might be he thought our home game against arse was another chance to rest him again after a hard game against palace.
If we are to win the rest of the games then Walker will play a big part - the away games will be very tough.

Hmm, maybe, but I still think Poch got wind that Walker's people were leaking these City rumours and has probably made him the poster boy for not tolerating any lack of focus on this run-in after the shambles of last year.

In the same way everyone was convinced something was off about Lamela until nothing was off and he was just injured? Not sure there's anything in this personally.

The guy has just posted proof of Poch rotating and you are still choosing to count flying pigs

False equivalency mate, with Lamela there was absolutely no substance whatsoever to go off of.

With Walker, you have a player who is fit enough to play midweek being dropped for the two biggest matches of the season (the derby was almost certainly the most important match since the League Cup final against Chelsea), plus reports in the media sourced from within City that they have been encouraged in their pursuit of him. Not to mention the sit-down he reportedly had with Poch.

It's absolutely speculative, no question about that, but there's more to make you wonder than with the Lamela situation.

I too think something is up, but I don't believe Poch bringing him off the bench is anything to do with it. I saw it as a) wasting a bit of time by bringing on a sub and b) utilising Walkers pace on the counter attack as Arsenal were pushing forward at that point.
