I want Kane to win the Golden Boot again. I want to stay as close in points to Chelsea as possible. I don't want them finishing 13 points ahead of us when we've been so close. I want to destroy Leicester, let them know their place.

I honestly think Poch is right there with you. He is not the type of coach that would just say "okay we have reached the finish line" with two games to go. He wants to keep the positive momentum going and he wants to show the league, the pundits, and everyone else that is watching, that Tottenham run through the line sprinting.

Full strength against Leicester, really hate those fuckers. Some small crumb of revenge for last year. Plus i'm going. Rose in for Davies if fit, Walker for trippier too.

Lloris and Kane against Hull to keep up their individual pursuits, unless Lloris has no chance of golden glove, then i'd like Pau to get a run out. Would go more experimental against Hull regardless, Janssen up with/about Kane, GKN, Sissoko to start and some random youngster out of left field to play as a carrot to KWP, CCV and Edwards for next season

Suspect they'll all want to play. Can we really expect Poch to let them slacken off?

I can't. We need to try and get as many points as possible so that we can try and beat that next season.

Surely we will change it up a bit, mainly due to the fact we play 5 days after Utd then again 3 days after Leicester. Can see Sissoko, Walker and Dembele in

Can't see Poch changing that much, he's the kind of coach that demands 100% even if there is nothing to pay for, although he may be willing to relax a bit and test out some fringe players.

When "revenge" is your motive for team selection then you are already losing.

Start with our strongest 11, 3-4-2-1 with Rose and Walker on the flanks if possible. Dembele and Wanyama in the middle, we haven't seen that team enough and may not if Walker leaves.

How exactly is golden glove decided? If it's based on clean sheets then surely the best thing for Lloris would be to not play him so that he can't concede another goal?

I don't think you understand how clean sheets work...it has nothing to do with laundry.

Haha, I saw that I had a doh rating, thought about it for a second, and realised how stupid my question was. In my defence I'm in the Caribbean drinking free booze all day, how is my brain supposed to function properly!

It's awarded to the goalkeeper with most games without conceding goals. As it stands:
1 Thibaut CourtoisChelsea16
2 Hugo LlorisTottenham Hotspur15
3 David de GeaManchester United14
4 Fraser ForsterSouthampton13
5 Petr ČechArsenal11
6 Tom HeatonBurnley10
Joel RoblesEverton
8 Artur BorucAFC Bournemouth9
Lee GrantStoke City
Thanks, I think what I had meant to ask was is it based on fewest goals conceded, in which case not playing could be beneficial, however to answer my own dumb question, obviously he can't keep more clean sheets without playing!

Meaningless. Points don't win prizes, positions do. Let's be happy with our best league position in 50 years rather than try and pretend that our points total this season is a greater achievement than Leicester's win last year... and let's go and get that 1st position for ourselves in 2017/18.

Baffled that anyone would think that under Pochettino we'll give both games anything less than 100 per cent or won't field the strongest XI available.

My only worry about Thursday would be a possible comedown from the high of the WHL finale.

Not really meaningless. Its an incredible achievement to get more points than what would have seen us win the league last year.

Obviously more points is better than fewer points, and clearly I'd prefer we finish the season with 86 points rather than 80 points, but I don't buy points comparisons with previous seasons. Positions are the most important thing: we finished 3rd last year and 2nd this year, and both of those are amazing achievements regardless of the points we earned doing it. I'm all for us earning 6 more points by the end of the season, but the comparison to Leicester's points tally just doesn't mean anything IMO: apples and oranges territory.

Sorry to be a sobering influence but we need to make sure we're strong going into next season especially on the road - dropped too many points there. Plus Golden everything. Mentality needs to be good going into the break.
