Watching that back you forget how much he was struggling at the beginning of the season following the post Euros hangover. That first goal felt like an age in coming and he missed a few sitters before that.

He spent too much time with England over the summer. Lost his confidence. "The England effect".

Just phenomenal.. reckon he's got a realistic chance of breaking Shearer's PL record.

Needs to work on his free kicks though :hungry:

78 league goals in 113 games. The same strike rate for us as the great Jimmy Greaves

99 goals in 165 games in all competitions

The Hurricane is blowing stronger and stronger

How absolutely fantastic that he's ours but let's not take him or his amazing stats so far, for granted

I keep thinking your avatar is Trump in the corner of my eye..

Harry Kane is fucking brilliant.

A thoroughly exceptional player.

We are very fortunate to have him.

I should imagine that DL will always do literally everything in his power to keep him happy, too.

Not just the injuries but fact after these injuries it took him a few weeks to get up to 100% fitness. Fingers crossed he can stay injury free next season. It's scary what his numbers could be if he does after a nice summer break. He's scored 29 goals in his last 26 premier league games.

The thing is we will need to play as well as we have done. Next season is also season before world cup which will keep him motivated.

I'm already bored without the football

Do you think he would break the wage structure for him? ;)

When the time comes. Yes.

I imagine he has a decent bonus clause for the Golden Boot - so I doubt we need to offer a new contract right now. But I would bet Kane has a new deal before next season is up.

Without doubt. Our matchday revenue is going to double if not next season, then the following season. We have a second successive season of Champions League income which in turn will enable more lucrative sponsorship deals, and with the Premier League TV deals getting more lucrative our wage ceiling is going to get higher over the next few years. Not to Pogba/Rooney levels, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we're paying Harry £150k a week by the time we move into the new stadium.

2014-15: 21 league goals
2015-16: 25 league goals
2016-17: 29 league goals

2017-18 will bring 33 league goals.

Shearer's record will be broken in 2021-22.

Save this post.

Yeah I think the new stadium will help push that salary up if Kane has another storming season next season.

I wish I was earning 100k a week :(:(:(:(

Unlike the top 3 he's actually playing against sone decent competition week in week out, and not Championship level defenders.

Who would of thought all those years ago when that 18 year old come on against Hearts in the Europa and fast forward 4 years, we would be calling him the best striker in the premier league. Astounding the rise of Harry Kane and I couldn't give 2 flying fucks if someone offered 200 mil. No money can replace this goal machine we have fortunately managed to have from our youth set up. Every other club is jealous because they have not got someone as good as this who loves the club with a passion. No money is enough for Kane and we need to keep him here for life
