I agree the price on his head is off putting.

Maybe we should move the price tag to his ankle far more discreet there.

It's not Tottenham Hotspur F.C who are inflating the market as far as i can tell.
Why would they (T.H.F.C) let a player you represent leave for less money than what they perceive an equal or better replacement would cost?

If you were really worried about your client you'd waive your cut of any transfer right? Hmm i'm sorry speak up? Uh huh thought so is now a good time to mentioned that you don't get a good pay day if your client doesn't move? Thought not...

No further questions, your witness!

Amazingly, 20m is probably about right. Sorry Mr Agent Man, that's the going rate

24, four years left on his contract, international, captain material having worn the armband at his former club, has shown himself to be very solid cover, clearly fits in well.

In a world where Van Dijk is 70m? Seems almost cheap

Nathan Ake is being touted as £20m. If anything asking for £20m for Wimmer is undervaluing him.

Wanting twenty million for an unproven PL back up center half is plain daft.

Levy wouldn't pay that and neither will any other clubs Chairman who is not on drugs, or goes by the name of Risdale.

That's the market. You can thank the likes of Shitty or Chelskum for that. Or are you suggesting we should be the suckers of the league?

I'd sooner see him pushing for a starting spot rather than complain he's not cheap enough to get a new club. He's definitely a good player and we don't have a lot of cover at centre back especially if we're going to play three.

He's not exactly unproven. Very good largely with the opportunities he's had and would start for any side outside the top 6.

Of all the back ups we have, he's one of the better ones. And when our starters are worth 50m+, Sissoko is 30m and Maguire is 17m...

Will end up being more like 15 but would happily keep. We won't get much better when we have a nailed on starting pair

Presents as a very good club man and plays for the shirt why are we selling these people? Need to keep them now we will be playing in 4 comps this season with clear aspirations of winning the league at least!

I agree. This is the agent doing his job, but JV can't play every game this year and I think Wimmer will get some good game time if he stays.

Could there be another aspect to this? I think MP rates him and wants to keep him in the squad and is hoping to deter buyers. Just a thought.

If he wants out how come (from what has been reported) no side outside the top six have bid for him?

If he goes and no one can really blame him, it won't be for 20 million. Sissoko was a regular PL player, and Maguire made forty two appearances last season in the PL, and whatever we think of either of them they are PL proven over more than a handful of games.

I personally hope that Wimmer stays but with Poch rotating Dier in that position when injury or suspension occur i can understand Wimmer wanting out.
