Today I received emails for me and my son stating that we can purchase a Wembley season ticket.

My son is 2 years old and can't sit still for 3 mins so I can't really take him to games.

However, I want him to be guaranteed a season ticket for the new stadium and for that to happeb I need to buy him the Wembley season ticket

A question I have (as I don't want to buy and leave the seat empty)

If I buy both tickets, can I take someone else? I.e. because it's a child season ticket, when they scan the card on the way in can they tell it's a child's ticket?

Replies ideally before 10am tomorrow so I can make a decision before the window opens!

Thanks all

Haha! Pretty much the first thing I did after he popped out....after I regained consciousness. Lucky I did because we both got in a decent position on the list.

Thing is the price is the same so who gives a shit who attends the game!

dont know - the turnstyles are automated so you should be ok

if i get a season ticket for myself, when my 12 year old son can come to a game, is there any way i can sit next to him if hes just a member?

My thoughts as well. Surely they'd have to put your kid next you.

Found out that Wembley lights up a different colour for a kids ticket so if spotted they'll suspend you

Chances are it'll be spotted sooner or later if an adult's using the ticket the whole time. You could buy one and try to sell on each game, but you might not be able to in some cases and I have no idea if the club would eventually look to do something about a season ticket holder who literally never actually went.

I'm in a similar situation.

Club have said you would have to upgrade the ticket on a match by match basis. Some games won't be upgradeable..Which is probably the Grade A games.

Also if games did not reach general sale then you can only upgrade it to another spurs member.

Only games on general sale can be upgraded so anyone can go.

There is a new scheme to resell your match tickets through spurs rather than stub hub and you would get 1/19th the price of your season ticket back... so you don't lose out too much.

Well same position i have too, upsetting really as the wembley tickets will be a waste for me.

Really considering buying these season tickets as i won't be attending most games and selling them will be like giveaways. As i really want to to be a season ticket holder for the new stadium.

Are you only repaid if someone opts to purchase it though or can you sell it back to Spurs regardless?

Only if someone opts to purchase it. It's also not yet been decided when members will be able to purchase tickets listed for resale. It's possible that once a block sells out, the resale market will open - so, for instance, if there were loads of upper tier seats left but the lower tier was sold out, season ticket holders could then sell their lower tier tickets to members. However, it's also possible that members won't be able to purchase tickets listed for resale until the entire stadium is sold out, which would make it harder.

I'll generally be on the look-out for adult & child tickets every now and then... ;)
Toying with whether or not Membership will actually be required, but I'm guessing that, like it was with SH last few seasons, ticket re-sale is only to members, not to general public.

Update - I got just the one for myself. Decided it wasn't worth the risk of £900 and not being able to take someone in place of my son.
