Lebron James is an NBA basketball player from Cleveland, Ohio who left his hometown club to play for Miami for bigger money and a chance to win trophies. Later in his career, he returned to Cleveland to help out his hometown franchise and eventually won the NBA title with them.

Yeah and Bale is not a Poch player, can you see him pressing? Plus he's over 25 and we all know that we don't sign adults as they have no sell on value.
Oh thank fuck. That means the Sissoko transfer and his subsequent performances was just a horrible, year long dream.

Dortmund have a similar set up for Reus in that a massive proportion of his wages are covered by sponsoring. A highly unlikely signing but not out of the question with the savings we'd make following the sale of Walker, Sissoko and the rumoured departure of Wimmer... plus what we have equated from Bentaleb etc.

This isn't happening unless RM pay us 100k a week and more as a wage subsidy.

If Lemar is financially out of our reach, I can't see how we could afford Bale next season. I can't see him doing a "LeBron" but even if he did, the fee would be huge as I think he is under contract till 2021/2, so Madrid will be looking for decent money.

If by some kind of miracle we could afford him, I would rather we splashed out on some young emerging talent or Ryan Ressegnon and a few others of similar ilk.

Seeing as though we're doing dream teams, imagine seeing this as well:

Lloris
Dier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen
Walker - Wanyama - Rose
Eriksen
Bale - Dele
Kane
Haha fuck. Either of those teams would be a lot of fun to watch.

It would be up there with one of the most stunning signings in football history IMO. I want to believe but seems lunacy to even think it.

The boost he'd give the team and the signal it would send could propel us to new heights.

I actually think the financials are doable but my concern is squad unrest. If we pay him £300k a week, what's to stop at least 5 or 6 others asking for an extra £100k. All of a sudden, we're having to another £30m in wages just to keep still.

So, well, file under unlikely. I'm also worried about the state my penis would be in after I'd finished with it once he signed.
