My bro says downtown Nashville has been overtaken by our fans.

He's just got a shirt signed by Dele for my lad.
Got his The Finale programme signed yesterday by Toby, Dier, Trippier, Dele, Eriksen, Davies and Walker-Peters.

That's amazing.

Not sure how familiar you are with the Nashville area, but Broadway (Basically what Nashville is known for; a long street loaded with bars) runs right down to the Nissan Arena, where they are playing today. Would be such a fun atmosphere. If 75% of the fans there aren't absolutely hammered, they're doing it wrong.

They've divided themselves up in the car park and started singing We're the Park Lane, We're the Shelfside. :D

Love it.

The supporters clubs here in the states are actually really awesome. I'm sure that's the big driving point in the turnouts the team has received during this tour (and previous ones). I was hoping to be able to make the match in New Jersey, but couldn't swing it due to a change in my job. Glad to see they've shown how good of fans we can be, despite most of us never seeing them play in person (myself included).
Just been watching the clip of the march to the stadium...the supporters clubs over your way have been doing a great job with the turnouts...i didn't realize the team was so loved...very impressed by it all and the fans definitely seem awesome...hopefully the players respond!

It's funny, I live on the east coast and when I'm in big cities during the season, I make a point to go to the official supporters clubs bars. They are always slam-packed and just from the conversations it's a common thing. Our fanbase is really growing. 5-7 years ago, not a soul would know what I was repping if I had a Spurs shirt on. Now, I go to a random bar in my smaller city and I'll often get a comment/acknowledgment if I'm wearing something Spurs related.

It's actually really cool, and a lot of it has to do with the wonderful job NBC Sports has done here since taking over for Fox in broadcasting games. They kind of dropped the ball this season (all matches were previously free if you had their channel as part of your cable package, now they are charging $50.00/season for the same coverage). Nonetheless, it really has made a big difference in wide appeal and drawing in new fans.

Wish I was there!

Don't think it ever will. I think tonight will make it feel all the more real. Even though I've already seen him in the City shirt, seeing him there against us, it'll be completely different. I don't hope he's awful for them, but I hope he is completely and utterly mediocre.

I don't hate him for it. He spent the best part of 10 years with us. Got so used to him going down our right tonight is going to be odd. Though glad the first time is in a friendly and not in the season. Gets it out the way.

I wish I could say I don't think any of our fans hate him for it, but I've seen Twitter and know that's not the case. I just hope he doesn't actually take the next step and really become a world class fullback. He was really, really good for us, but I wouldn't say he was entirely complete. If that happens for him, 50m will look like a steal and we will have essentially solved a massive problem for a club that I believe is now the odds-on favorite for the title.
