Will be interesting to see if members take up the "guest" ticket option, especially as it's highly unlikely that guest will have a seat next to the purchaser.

Isn't the point that you wait until guest ticket day to buy a seat for yourself and your mate?

Ah, I assumed it was just an option to buy additional ticket separately.
Guess that reduces my hopes of getting anything on General Sale.

If you select "choose your seat" it shows less availability.

Had this conversation with my dad. He wants to go to a few games with my mum this season, they're not massive football fans, it's just for the experience/atmosphere more than anything so are happy to sit up in the gods. However he's worried he's going to end up sitting next to a bunch of ****s who couldn't get away tickets.

Think you have to be registered and have a client reference to buy general sale tickets. Nothing stopping Chelsea fans registering I guess but it gives some level of accountability.

Not sure if it's still the same but in the past they'd only allow ppl who have previously bought & have a current client reference number to buy tickets for games like this....
Hopefully that's still in effect because I like others don't want a bunch of chav fans sitting in our end.

There's an asterisk saying tickets may be on 'restricted sale' - am guessing this means that you need a Spurs buying history
