I'm in sunny Barcelona. Have been here a few weeks and hopefully will be for many months more, work permitting.

And what else would I want to do at the home of the CL and La Liga champions?? Yep, meet up with some Yids and watch Spurs play of course.

Any fellow SC'ers living here?

Since you arrived Barca have shipped 8 goals in their last two games.
Keep your head down mate.
No I'm in Madrid.
My other team is Real Madrid!
Mind you at least two of their best players are ours.

Heh I did notice that. Was a rather grim mood around the local bars last night. Hey ho I can't bring myself to sympathise too much given the pain I have suffered as a Spurs fan over the years :)

See you at El Clasico, Madrid scum ;)

Probably a long shot (by Zakora) but here goes

I've just moved to Mojacar Playa, Almeria and was wondering if there were any SC bothers or sisters who fancy getting together to rejoice/repent their support, while watching the mighty Spurs

I know there are many Spurs fans living in Spain, so i was surprised to see a thread had not already been posted.
So here it is.
I live on the costa blanca, cabo roig, and on match days there are a number of bars that show premiership games, the main one is Bar Med which has a number of screens which they show all of the days matches on, which can be good for a bit of banter.Another bar that has just been taken over in Pilar is owned by a Spurs fan so will be going there on Saturday to watch the Sunderland game.
coys

Any Spurs fans in Galicia? I used to go to Vigo, Pino de val, Santa Comba and La Coruna often.

Well and truly whacked last night.
Not sure Benitez will survive unless they win the Champions' league, the Copa del Rey
and the La Liga this year!

Opposite the Bernabeu across the Castellana is the Ministry of Defence.
Take the street between it and the BBVA bank on the corner.
About 2/3 minutes walk is 'The Irish Rover' (Avenida de Brasil)
Turn left into square at Starbucks.
My daughter, Liz is the manager and there is always a warm welcome for Tottenham fans
plenty of screens, decent beer and football meal/ drink specials.

Metro: Bernabeu.

When you going?

I'm here for 6 months +, watched it in the James Joyce irish pub today near Banca de Espana. Fairly good.

Sounds good, will pop in for the Chelsea game! :)

Any suggestions of where I can watch from/near Alicante? I'll be there for the last game of the season.

Hey Chaps,
would really appreciate some advice please.
I'll be over in Madrid with the family for a week in Mid August, and would like advice on:
1) Where is a good spurs bar to watch Spurs v Chelsea (20Aug2017)?
2) is there anyway of getting super cup tickets for the bernabeu (16Aug2017) without paying tout prices - i.e. local ticket exchanges etc.

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Many Thanks

Hi Sanj..
See post above for the Irish Rover.
It's only five minutes from the Bernabeu.
Several screens to watch the match.

Tickets for the super cup are extremely expensive (It's Barcelona!)
(From 65 euros for top tier. Good view but take an oxygen mask)
135 Euros behind the goal but one end is already sold out.

Try the Official Real Madrid site, it's usually decent if there are tickets available.
To be honest there are very few left but have a look yourself.
Cheapest in VIP 950 Euros from what I can see.
I think its going to be a tout's Xmas day and birthday all in one.

Buy tickets online and collect outside the ground on arrival if not time to be sent.
Or possibly print off if you have the facilities.
No idea of tout prices but probably frightening.

I'd stay in the Irish. Ask for Liz (JimmyG2's daughter) tell her your sad story
and you might get a free pint.
Food is good too.

The Stadium tour is excellent.
Have your photo taken with any star past and present
(Cardboard cutout only but pretty convincing)

Really appreciate the detailed email @JimmyG2 . (y)(y)
I'm on the RealMadrid website daily to try and get some tickets - but they were sold out within mins of general sale.
Will continue looking as tickets do seem to be coming up every now and then - but again taken in the seconds they come up. Will keep trying tho,

Only other place I have seen is Stubhub/ Ticketbis - but as you say ticket prices are frightening - at least 3x face value :(

Will defo pop in and see your daughter in the Irish Rover and hopefully see Spurs down the chavs.

Also - Stadium tour sounds like a great idea, as for cardboard cutouts - will just be a reminder of our 90's defence.

Found a Spurs bar (Charlie's) in Los Montesinos very friendly owner.

Just a shame about my first viewing there (Everton)

Welcome!
But please don't watch any more games.
Plenty of iconic sights to see instead, .
Or face away from the screen.
Give the boys a break.

Definitely an English Sports Bar. in Xabier (Javier) showing football. Not far from you (13km.)
phone to check if game is showing with English hosts (https://www.timeoutsportsbar.es/)
Stayed in Xabier this summer. Very nice.
Probably one in Denia too .
Look for Irish bars in Spain they are usually Sports bars.
