Yep, add the new ticket exchange platform, which basically leaves every season ticket holder unable to resell their tickets, and I'm feeling mightily pissed at the club at the moment.

They had the chance to build a lot of goodwill this summer, but everything they've done has made them just look money hungry.

If you fill in the form to request two free tickets, you get an out of office message from a chap called Jack Allen asking you to talk to one Ben Dellow. Which is charmingly low tech as web forms go, but suggests - disturbingly - that the interest even in free tickets is low enough for one bloke to field a couple of enquiries and to choose the winner by closing his eyes and stabbing a finger at his Outlook screen.

They couldn't have got it more wrong. They have made less money and made the atmosphere worse by their greed.

Yep, it's almost as if the European games last season told them "these fans will turn out regardless, we will fill Wembley no problem" rather than "hey, price things competetivley and you'll sell out Wembley". Idiots.

I understand they have a business to run, new stadium and Wembley to pay for. But with a wage bill staying where it is, thousands of new season ticket holders, and massive amounts of premier league and sponsorship money, you would have thought they'd realise they'd need to give the fans something in return. Whether that be a marquee signing or two, or competitive prices.

They're about the same price as equivalent seats at the lane?
And with cheaper tickets we'll have even less money to not spend in the window.

Oh I know, and I get the reasons for not reducing them. I'm cool with that. I just think for the season the club should have made selling your season ticket a lot more flexible. Not in a StubHub any price you want style, but even just allowing a season ticket holder to transfer their ticket to a e-ticket online, so you could sell it to a friend would have made life so much easier while we are at Wembley.

What's stopping you physically loaning your card to a friend for an agreed fee? If he's a friend he's not going to abuse it and get you in trouble.

And the problem with ticket resale is Wembley is too big. If we'd just had the bottom and middle tier it would likely sell out and create the demand.
I got a season ticket in the gods knowing no one would want my ticket if there's anything else.

It's the same here mate. Does anybody know what "restricted general sale" covers?

On the queue screen it said that you had to be registered on the site before 1st July...

Think someone's just pressed the wrong button at ticketmaster....
