Cant believe how many people actually believed we would come anywhere near meeting the price tag for this guy.

Why would we sell wimmer who only played a few times last season and spend 30m on his replacement?? I'm not having myself.

Gonna admit i did google and am not convinced Darth Levy will pay €35m for someone with 2 caps.

With the Walker, Fazio, Bentaleb money, wouldn't it make better sense to splash it on Barkley (30m) and Benjamine Heinreichs ? Both are young and next gen of internationals.

Add Lemar as a luxury purchase and we'll at least win one pot this season

Damn everything is getting all exciting so you know the next bombshell will be that he has signed some megawad new contract.

Hope I'm wrong I Know nothing of the player like most but if we want him I damn sure want us to get him.

If we signed this guy he'd likely start regularly in the back 3. If Dier has been talking to Poch about wanting a defined position as many have suggested, this would make a lot of sense.

The lemar deal plus wages is rediculous according to jj. If we do well wimmer as rumours suggest we would recoup a lot of this. Barkley seems a cert and that would leave some in the tank for another attacker.

Eh? Where did it say we've had a bid rejected? In fact, ITK say 'price in not an issue' and 'we're closer to a deal than everyone thinks'

Contract links could just be to appease the fans ahead of the sale to be fair. They want 50m EUR and reported figures are short of that
