Feel a bit sorry for this lad, tbh.

At the moment he's like one of your mates you got chatting to a girl he fancies at the bar, got distracted by someone better looking, only to turnaround and find his original lady has buggered off with another bloke.

Now he's pissed outside the chippy telling everyone she was 'the one'.

Plan B if Sanchez goes pear shaped??

Significantly cheaper, allowing funds to be reallocated into other positions.

Hoping this means that we would sign both as Wimmer wants out. A bit concerned that the delay in Sanchez is because this is back on and he would be considerably cheaper.

If we sign both, it also means we can comfortably play 3 decent central defenders at the back in most games, and Dier could go back to his better position.

PSG are already having to sell players like Aurier because of FFP.

If they sign Mbappe for another outrageous fee, I don't see how they can blow 13 million Euros or something similar on Foyth.

So, our existing offer may prove to be the best on the table, with the player clearly wanting to play for Poch.

I could also see as Ajax seem to be set on getting a record fee for Sanchez, or at least string us along and hope a bidding war erupts, our "Foyth is too expensive" mindset might roll back and think of making an improved offer here. There is a world where we could get both. That some world could end up with neither.

Ajax should let us sign Sanchez, they should sign Foyth to replace Sanchez and we'll pop back over in a year to take Foyth off their hands after a great debut season. Foolproof.

basically how all premier league clubs work. don't take the risk initially but then pay massive money to get the player in after a season!

My personal opinion is that this one could come back around. My French cousin is a PSG season ticket holder in the VIP area and as such has access to certain bits of info. Talking to him last night he says interest in Mbappe is 100% real, he is their first choice with Alexi Sanchez as a fallback option, and that he doesn't foresee Foyth joining them. He was convinced Foyth would join us instead, but was unaware that we are about to hopefully sign Davinson Sanchez

Sanchez for Wimmer and Foyth in and CCV out on loan would be the ideal

Meanwhile Tottenham’s move for £10million Estudiantes centre-back Juan Foyth is still on despite the potential arrival of Sanchez.

Mauricio Pochettino wants depth at centre-half and, while PSG looked to have taken advantage of an impasse in negotiations, Foyth has been holding out in favour of a move to London.
