They're defence wasn't strong in the same way ours was. They played defensively meaning nobody scored either end, now the test is can they defend when they open the games up. We'll have to wait until they stop playing relegation fodder to find out though
To be fair, they dropped so many points to relegation fodder teams last season, including Swansea, that swatting these two teams aside shows a lot of strength IMO.

Said to my mrs that I think UTD will win the league this year and I still believe that to be the case, Mourinho almost always wins the title in his second season, I have a feeling we are going to finish 2nd to them.

Hope I am wrong because missing out to Leicester (the most unlikely team to win the league) followed by Chelsea (who were dog shit the season before) and then United, (a team that hasn't won the league since Ferguson left) would be unbearable, just feels like there is always something standing between us and glory.

We have to do our absolute best to win as many games as possible and by as many goals as possible because I think GD is going to be a huge factor this season.

Yes they played defensively but they will still be good at the back.

United shelled it 2nd half and then took advantage when Clement blinked and changed his system. The system was working well for them and United had produced nothing 2nd half but Swansea faltered in attacking areas because they had no cutting edge up front - the young lad up there did ok but never possessed a genuine goal threat, and they need someone who can push Llorente (Bony?).

United had moments in the game (up until the late deluge) but were solid and workmanlike rather than fluid and the final score really doesn't reflect the whole 90 minutes. They didn't create loads and a better team will cause them problems and it won't be enough to try and nick something from a set piece or deflection. They won't lose many and will win more than last season but will still draw a few they shouldn't because they lack the creative fluidity of a City, Spurs or Chelsea (of last year at least). Will also be interesting to see the affect the Champions League has on them.

And here we go. Many people think the league is over. Man United have won the title after two games. Look at last season, Man City won their first six games, scored 18 goals and played good football. It was the same back then. Man City had won the league. Then we smashed them at WHL.

Even Man United won their first three games last season. Sure, they are probably better than last season, but I don't think they will win the league. Top three for sure, but not more than that.

Just watching the Swansea v ManU game. What was the Swansea 33 doing for the Utd corner goal, stood there with his arms out as if beckoning the keeper to somehow levitate off the floor, whilst Baily just steps in and scores. Fuckwit.

Is Liverpool playing anyone? Listening at the commentators you could believe they are running around on their own on the pitch. Fluent and flamboyant football etc. Turds.
