Seemingly a decent time to play them. However I fully expect a tough game and wouldn't be surprised if this ended as a draw.

Yup, a win would be a great result and a great start. I definitely make us favourites though

I think a score draw is most likely. Want to win it bad though as gf's ex is Chelsea and he will be around later.

Tbf though he wasn't confident and felt we would win. I just said unlikely as we are still coming to terms with the pitch

Such a big game this. Win and it really sets a marker for our season - beat the reigning champs, wembley 'hoodoo' gone, 6 points from 2 games, continuation of our form from last season, chelsea bottom with West Ham! And that is before our new signings come in.

I think we can do this. Chelsea have a worse team than last year at the moment and we have the same team. 2-0 Spurs. COYS

Effectively playing this game at a neutral ground, I'd like to have played them a few games in.
We need to be on our metal today but it will be hard, not being pessimistic just think its a tough one to start, the good thing is that I believe our boys are going to be right up for it.
COYS.

A big day all around. First game with Wembley as our PL home ... first home match ... playing the only team who finished above us last year at a time when they are wounded, which might or might not be good ... and my first game as a season ticket holder! COYS 3-1 will do

Well, sort of. I'm guessing we may have one or two more fans than they do in the ground. :p

But yeah, take your point that it's a tough start in our new home, and I think a draw is just as likely as a win today even with the players they will have missing.

I'm so excited, this will be my first match in quite a while and it's the first time I'm going alone. Hopefully today is when we prove there is no curse!

This is massive, not just because it's Chelsea but because it's our 1st 'home' game at Wembley.

A convincing win and everything is there for us this season, a draw or defeat and the Wembley moaning will be deafening

Everyone seems very positive on this one! Its 50/50 for me with very small margins. A mistake, great strike, great piece of skill is all it takes

I'd almost be happy with a draw to be honest.

Wouldn't say it at the Lane, but feel the last thing we need is to lose our first game at Wembley.
