It probably looks even more ropey with a running track half covered by some stands, highlights even more the temporary nature of a large part of their stadium.

Did you never lay out all your lego bricks before you put it together ?I'd love to know why they are laying out the tension cables for the roof in front of the north stand. Makes no sense to me.

I'm suspecting that they are/will use it to crane stuff into the concourse etc. Might be wrong of course, but you have to assume it's there for some kind of access as there's definitely going to be seating there when finished.Does anyone know why there is a gaping hole in the North Stand upper tier? I've been expecting it get filled in for the last few months!
Where do you think they should lay them out?I'd love to know why they are laying out the tension cables for the roof in front of the north stand. Makes no sense to me.
The laying out, or the location of the laying out? Laying out itself I should think would be to iron out any kinks as it were, ya know, like what when ya get a new hdmi cable and it's been bent for ages and is kinky and stuff.I'd love to know why they are laying out the tension cables for the roof in front of the north stand. pretty sure these are the cables that will stretch from the large metal outer ring pieces going up currently to the inner ring. Laying them out will allow them to attach to those outer ring pieces and then suspend them down to that three cable inner ring below. They're essentially the bike spokes.I'd love to know why they are laying out the tension cables for the roof in front of the north stand. Makes no sense to me.

Could be wrong though.
Yep they're definitely the cables that will form the tension structure of the roof. My point is more why they are laying them out now. The roof is absolutely nowhere near complete. The cables on the terracing I understand but those on where the pitch will be..... I don't get that at all.
I suspect that's been badly explained. The ones curved around the terracing look like the cables which will form the inner circle/oval of the compression ring. So in effect they're the ones going around the pitch (looking down from above) area of the roof as opposed being outside the roof or connecting to the outside (which will be done by the cables laying on the pitch area now).Yep they're definitely the cables that will form the tension structure of the roof. My assumption is they begin connecting them over the terracing while they build out the rest of the stadium, rather than waiting for the outer ring to be connected before they start setting it up. They won't lift until the whole roof is done. they'll probably be off the pitch pretty soon.Yep they're definitely the cables that will form the tension structure of the roof. Makes the info more plausible/less likely to have bias, thanks buddy.Incredibly vague snippet of info here:
A friend (not a football fan) told me that they met someone responsible for organising the handover between the demolition process and the construction team in the overlap region. According to them it was all on schedule.
Unfortunately my friend isn't a Spurs fan or football fan so didn't ask anything particularly interesting on the topic.
