Dier gave the ball away a lot today and Lloris was poor for both goals. Fine margins, but again we lose at Wembley. 8 out of last 10 games at Wembley we've lost in all comps.

We can turn it roundbut the players need to pull their finger out. Early goal vs Burnley please otherwise it's not gonna look good.

Davies and Trippier are not Walker and Rose and if we lose Rose to Utd then we will drop a lot of points. They both have that bit of class that the other two don't. Also I can't see Aldo signing a new contract when he looks at the mistake Lloris made to lose the game and he's on 100 grand and Aldo's on 50. I thought last week and this they lack that fire of last season and I wonder if all is well with the players.

We dominated but looked out of ideas at times. Davies is safe, no more, and had a poor game.
Son could h e been brought on earlier and I would have brought Winks on as well for some invention
Overall we should have won but too many mistakes from usually reliable players

Its not really the end of the world although it feels like it when losing to Chelsea.

We were the dominant side but didn't take advantage of our possession and chances.

Lloris is, as we know, a very good GK but today just wasn't one of his better days.

Wanyama was also poor today but he's just returned from injury.

Dier was a red card risk and had to be taken off.

We need an improvement at LB

Poch has to also take some portion of the blame for using subs late and I would also have preferred
if we had used Winks instead of Sissoko and brought on KWP when Tripper was injured as I don't think Janssen is
a game changer.

If Davinson gets up to speed, I think that Dier will lose his starting place.

You'd think sanchez would be close to starting given his fee and the fact he's been training up until the last few days so won't be unfit. On the balance of things, dier starts over wanyama in midfield next week anyway. He was subbed because of the yellow, not because he was bad.
I was surprised Dier got dragged. I thought Wanyama (by his standards) was way off it today. He surrendered possession so many times.

Can we form an anti-Neville Cult and secretly wish him never to speak again - I mean seriously, I live in Spain and wince constantly at his one dimensional, moronically biased natter - his insane natter - he doesn't even see the game - he sees what he wants to see - what a plonker that man is and he gets paid for it! FFS! LOL! How on earth did that man ever play at a decent level with his brain?
He's like the moronic mate you met at college and accepted because you didn't want to judge, then as the years went by you have no option but to resort to your initial synopsis....what a twat - once a twat always a twat !And it don't matter what you have achieved inbetween Mr Neville or how much money you have - you're a knob - a one dimensional, pre-ordained f uc king knob! I could predict what you will say in next weeks game before your bad breath utters a vibe - you absolute, god honest definition of a twat!
You mean Phil, I assume.

Sorry, Davies played really well - probably best Spurs player after Dembele.

Why does he keep playing Wanyama and Dier in the middle?

Its worked about once in about 10 tries last season.

Dier is fucking lost next to Wanyama and the rhythm of the team is completely lost.

Next week is huge now. We have got to get that first win under our belts with a good performance. Burnley can be a really annoying team to play. We should win but we really have to win. Thought we played pretty well today but I am a bit concerned, a draw next week could seriously mess up our season.

Not just Wembley though, is it? We haven't won at the bridge for over 20 years and we've been 2 up there twice with 20 minutes to go.

Oh for sure. It's not Wembley specific. It's just incredibly frustrating that we won't have a proper home advantage this season.

One bright side is that, unlike arsenal, our transition season into the new ground should be a positive one rather than a setback.
