we are crying out for this type of skilful player to unlock defences.

If we can't buy a first team ready one then this is the next best thing.

Both would be ideal but we do need to be pragmatic.

what role does Sessegnon play? 'follows him' as in comes to the club afterwards, not on instagram.

Spurs have 3 players in the Eng U17 with Sancho - Griffiths, Oakley-Boothe and Eyoma. Sessegnon played in the U19s most recently, with Marcus Edwards. If we're going down the 'he has friends at the club' route, then here's some already there.
Apparently they're really good friends so RS signing may have been a factor

If anyone comes to spurs I doubt its anything to do with their friends, its poch, the facilities, the club. It may be an added bonus, but not a true factor imo.

if that was the case, he'd be just as likely to go to Arsenal. His best friend is Reiss Nelson of Arsenal and last week he was at Thorpe Park with Nelson and another gooner Joe Willock.

from here with a pic. It does say this, though: ‘His family think he might get a quicker path to first-team action at either Arsenal or Spurs’ - which is probably more important. Both clubs offer a route back to where he grew up, but the difference will be game time and where his career is best served. He can see his friends after training.

if the 3rd keeper is free and Sanchez was 40m, does that mean it was 20m per player?

o_O
Sure. If it makes you feel better about the price. That's seems to be the common argument this window is the price of players.

I agree with you. But the more interaction I have with young people today, I fear that some really don't have the capacity to give it much thought.

For some players, definitely. Most, in fact. But Lukaku's decision to turn down Chelsea was largely in part bc Pogba was at ManU. There was a lot of media about it and all but they really are tight. And if you're 17/18 years old? Friends are everything

Watched a couple of his highlight reels this morning, this kid clearly has potential, but I think any excitement needs to be tempered. He looked like an adult playing among the under 18s. He's considerably bigger than most of the other players and that may be making him look a lot better than he is.

What kind of fee are we looking at for this kid?

Would be an insane signing along with sessegeon.

If you add what else we also have here poch could actually feel fully responsible for the turn around of the english national team.

Harry Winks
Marcus Edwards
Sessegeon
Jaden Sancho
Expect Tashan Oakley Boothe to make it as well.
Kyle Walker Peters.
Josh Onomah (if he makes it)
Oliver Skipp (looks like he has huge potential)

Hope this deal happens, kid is clearly talented. I can see him breaking into the 1st team ala Dele and causing havoc for opposition defenders. I think we'll cut our losses on GKN, Sissoko and Janssen if we sign Sessegnon, Sancho and Barkley.

I can see Nkoudou and Sissoko going, but not Janssen. Nkoudou and Sissoko out, to make space for Barkley, Sancho and Sessegnon, plus return of Lamela makes sense. But not Janssen, he's the only other natural CF we have outside of Kane.
It's hard to work out what formation has become our 'go to' setup. We've bought Sanchez, and are allegedly adding Foyth, with only Wimmer going, which points to 3421, as such we start to look overloaded at AM. However, if we remain with 4231 as a priority, having Eriksen, Alli, Son, Lamela, Barkley, with Sancho and Sessegnon also. Probably about fits.

Can't see us signing both Sancho and Sessegnon they play in the same position. Just looked at Sancho on youtube in his age group he looks unplayable.

Adding the likes of Phil Foden, Reiss Nelson, Tammy Abraham, Rashford, Prime Kane, Prime Alli, Prime Stones etc to that list. England's chances of the 2022 WC don't look so bleak... Although inevitably a few of them won't live up to their potential.

I really can't understand the thought of N'Koudou leaving or going on loan. He is an amazing talented player pacey with good skills, injured at the moment. I hope he's given more of a chance.
