Morning...

So around three and a half years ago I spent 3 weeks with my wife in an isolation room whilst she went through a stem cell transplant for cancer treatment. At the time, this forum was my escape. Fast forward to the past three weeks and I find myself again in the same room for the same reasons... and again spurs Community and esp. this forum, in all its craziness has kept me sane. So thank you to you all and 20 quid already donated...
Thoughts and love with you both mate.

I feel you mate. Took my dad, who's undergoing a second course of chemo, to the Chelsea game on Sunday. Unfortunately it was a bad idea as he was just throwing up and in a bad way. I fear that may have been his last trip to Spurs having been going since 1948, but hoping for miracles, of course. All the best to you.

When I hear stuff like this I realise I don't care who we sign, some things are more important than football. Best of luck to you both (y)

Sorry to hear that, too. Stay strong - it's just as tough losing a parent to that shitty disease.

That is what the player threads are for.

I would say that only problem with this is that i would say many don't have time to go through every player thread

I do also wonder if a generic 'not neccessarily ITK but the word on the street is' thread would be good

Anyone who wants unverified ITK should just go on Twitter, its full of the crap.
Im sure that the twitter thread we used to have on here for that stuff doesn't exist anymore for a very good reason.

I'd like to see other teams itk here but only after they have been verified in some way.
By contrast, I'm happy for them to provide context in the player threads - they can always be referred to in here just like messages from our ITKs are.

As others have said, I merely add to... Much more important than any stupid kick a ball nonesense, so all the best to you and your wife.

That said, I do hope the ITK and signings come to help you through in any small way they can.

Sancho looks promising.

If we don't want it posted in here why would we want it to be referenced in here? It's an issue that crops up very rarely anyway, but it's not a road we want to go down right now, referencing it in here would completely nullify what we're trying to do with this thread.

Can't we just have a Spurs related non-Spurs ITK thread, all of it's own?

Most important thing is not who we get, but your better half is alright.
