It's amazing that this is a thread.

How do you work that out?

Openly linked to him in the media.
Supposedly had a bid rejected.
ITK's have commented saying that we are interested, even if it is unlikely to get him.

Not sure what else you need really? If it's too much for you to cope with then just don't come into the thread. Simple enough really.

Everybody seems to forget the wages he is on which is probably twice what we would pay him. There is no way we can attract any top player from the top clubs from the PL as they will all be on far bigger moneythan our players.
So I wouldn't start creaming ourselves over star names coming to us there wont be any. What we should be more worried about is keeping the ones we have.

Had you read through the thread, you would have seen that wages are not likely to be the issue here.
Plenty of reasons as to why he is unlikely to come to Spurs, but given the amount of discussion on the subject already, wages is the least of our concerns.

Doubt it.

Either way, it doesn't matter. You were saying there was no point us having a thread. I merely pointed out there was a point in having one.

He said it's amazing.

It IS amazing that United would even think to do business with us and for a player that's scored in both of their games so far AND that we could afford one of the biggest up and coming potential future stars AND that he would WANT to possibly leave United for us.

It means we've progressed significantly in the last few years (without becoming financially irresponsible!) and I don't think it's wrong for saying this even if he meant for other reasons. What Poch and, yes Levy, have continued to pull off is setting the foundation for Spurs to become one of the biggest clubs in the world and player threads on potential top tier signings are a sign of just that.

He's ITK. From COYS I think
You can search previous windows. For example this one (http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/update-186-robinbkk-pedrozo.75607/)

Unless he registered with the same name here, but is not the same person

As I say, it doesn't really matter. If he is claiming this info is ITK - which he hasn't confirmed - then it still clashes with other ITK we've had about the player so I'd be entitled to be sceptical.

Either way though, I was challenging his post about the validity of having a thread and I stand by it.

Plenty of people get info without being officially ITK. Players, agents and officials all have friends and family and will know what that individual is doing/thinking. I don't get the immediate doubting and arrogance when someone posts a snippet from an unusual source. It's all just fun, enjoy it with an open mind.

Hercules mentioned look at another player, I see Ronaldo might be on the move. Wonder if he might be heading back to United?

my hunch is we took Dier off because of his yellow card. I would have had both Wanyama off and Davies for Son and Winks

That was my thought, but I think it was the wrong decision, because was out on his feet with 10 to 15 mins to go.
