Yep, definate potential there.

Would he come to us though, it appears he wants minutes.

He hasn't really kicked on since joining them and had a consistent run of games. I wonder why?

He's probably marginally better than Janssen I guess. If we swapped them for the same price in and out I don't think it would make much difference. I'd rather keep Janssen and sign Origi though.

Not sure what people want if they're turning their noses up at Origi as a potential second choice striker. Much more to his game than Janssen and is in general just the better player. That being said I can't imagine a world where Liverpool sell anyone to us, even a bench-warmer.
We are in a situation where the top 6 prefer. Not to deal with each other. The only way round is if a deal is mutually beneficial.

Kyle Walker.
And Matic was allowed to go to United. I'm not saying that no deals are possible. Both players had 1 club they were prepared to leave and both actively wanted to leave.

Everyone saw what happened when Arsenal sold the family silver to the Manchester clubs.

Origi has options abroad and that in itself makes it more attractive to Liverpool.

Strong, fast, skill full, can play down the middle or on either flank. Still just 22. Would add the pace that 90% of this site think we will get relegated without.

I think he'd improve our squad and could realistically push the first team. If we are targeting Martial and Keira, I understand why we'd be looking at Origi to.

If this was even remotely true, Liverpool would simply put an unrealistic price on for us, we'd come back with a ridiculous offer it would be immediately rebuffed by them and then it would quickly get to Thursday and then Friday, and he would be no nearer to becoming a Spurs player next Friday than he was the Friday just passed.

The article says

Tottenham Hotspur may be attracted by Origi’s potential availability

So anyone with reservations can sleep easy. There's nothing to back this up other than a guess. Which, I suppose, makes it fit in rather nicely on here.

Well if they're looking to off load Janssen this would make sense, but I can't see L'Pool letting him come to us.

Slight difference between Martial and Balde who you name and Origi. The first two are both fantastic players with the potential to be devestating. Origi is f**king shite and looks to have the potential to tear up league 1.

Missing the point (and your closing sentence is just plain wrong anyway), yes the first two are potentially very good players and shown more so far, but if Pochettino really wants this type of player and can't get the other two then at least there is a consistency in what the plan B looks like, much more than missing out on Mane and signing Sissoko.

Origi is a player who has been linked to us since Pochettino became manager, if he's someone Pochettino thinks he can do more with than Janssen, Sissoko, Nkoudou, N'Jie, etc then that's good enough for me.

Don't mind Origi if I'm honest, but I'd like spurs to keep janssen to if possible so spurs could play both in the cup games.

Not much of an upgrade on janssen really but an upgrade atleast and offers something different maybe speed n height. VJ i want so much to do well, just needs a rub of the green, but feels like soldado. Tbf for a CL footy squad divock is really a 3rd striker you , not your second choice imo
