I knew it

1st half other than being boring and unimaginative, must now hold the record for having the most blocked shots

Its so disorienting to see Trippier with number 2 on his back, he probably was disoriented too. At fault for equalizer and most things bad in this game

Sissoko played well after coming on as a sub

Firing blanks in August again Kane, should have scored one of your many chances.

In my opinion the best Dele has played for awhile, as a matter fact my MOTM

Wembley jinx my ass, the team needs a kick up the backside and realise that the last two seasons are history. The clock starts again.

Trippier is a fucking atrocious defender. Kane is obviously mentally wobbled by this fucking August curse shit. Dier is ponderous, Dembele too. Davies was fine. Eriksen and Dele were wasteful and couldn't control a fucking thing.

One of the most pitiful performances I've seen from us under Poch.

Sissoko was the fucking best player for us when he came on.

Vertonghen and Davies were decent.

Rest ranged from below average to shit.

Noteable mention for Trippier's worst game in a Spurs shirt.

Also Poch once again failed to effectively change the game from the bench, granted he is limited in his choice but the timings were awful.

Davies for me. Set up some good chances and could have had one or two assists if it weren't for some poor finishing.

Trippier doing his best to try and drop back down to number 2.

Terrible performance. Trippier was playing as though he was a right winger and Burnley kept targeting that flank- how on earth Trippier was allowed to contine playing 30yards too far forward is frankly mind-boggling. Lloris motm. Dreadful game

Thought Dele was good, Dier and Davies decent and the rest meh. No outstandingly bad performance apart from Trippier who was dreadful. Aurier can't come in soon enough.

So negligent by the club to leave it to the last minute (AGAIN!!!) to address a glaring hole in the team. Trippier is simply incapable of playing as a wing back. His positioning is schoolboy football standard. Literally 30yards too far forward, even in the 92nd minute!!

We're going to have to seriously start playing with more verve if we're serious about a top 4 finish. 4231 with current personnel at Wembley doesn't work. Sanchez can't get us playing three at the back quick enough

I just can't understand what the f*** our defending was near the end.

Once it got to 80+ minutes, why didn't we just shut up shop?

Burnley's only tactic towards the end was to just hoof long balls up the pitch, and try play a striker in behind.

Yet we still persisted on playing a high line. WTF!

If we go defensive towards the end, how is that Burnley squad going to score against us? They've got little/no creativity in their attack and I'd trust Alderweireld and Vertonghen to win any crosses that come in.

Pochettino seriously needs to work on how he sees a game out. Towards the end this was almost a replica of our game against Chelsea. They were just getting in behind so many times (even if offside) that it just started feeling inevitable that they'd score.

It's not going to be a good season, is it?

Not with that bench. Look at the other top teams. They have players that can change a game. Wtf do we have? Sissoko, Winks and Janssen. Even Stoke and Everton has better better options on the bench than we do.

They tried the same fucking pass that caught us out about 8 times before it came off. Trippier should be lambasted for not staying in position. I literally despise every poster that made out Trippier would be fine replacing Walker.

Laughing at City for taking our second choice RB lasted long

They were targeting that pass for the goal for the last 20 minutes and Trippier didn't pick up on it. That was dumber than anything Walker ever did

I don't understand how a club like ours has to have their go to sub as Moussa Sissoko, it's actually terrible that we have let ourselves get into this situation. Surely we have better than him and if we don't then we are deluding ourselves in thinking we are a Champions League team.

If we are not careful then I could see us being mid table mediocrity this year as Utd, City, Chelsea and Liverpool are far far better than us at the moment.

FFS, does every bad result we get have to result in Sissoko bashing?

I don't want him at the club either, but he was actually fairly good when he came on IMO. Definitely much bigger things to complain about from that performance than that we brought Moussaka Sissoko on.

Tripps has always had zero recovery. He knows that; poch knows that, yet he's often deep in enemy territory with no awareness of danger getting in behind him. It's just odd.

All poch had to do was say, 'half way line and only go beyond if situation is low risk'. What a shit-show.

If we're going to play Trips as a wb at Wembley there has to be decent cover behind

Sanchez.

Though I'd rather just not tbh. If he's not putting crosses in he's useless to us. Like today. Only reason we have him as an option is for his deliveries. It certainly isn't for his recovery or defensive qualities.
