Other than the Work Permit I would imagine SA is all but signed to join us. We never allowed players to manoeuvre themselves into the final year of their contract after Judas I presume as much after Willian we don't put this sort of time and effort into signing players to be gazumped at the final stage by another club.

Do we know this is the case though? I thought Neymar was essentially given €200m to become the official player mascot of the next world cup and then bought out his contract with Barca and signed with PSG?

They obviously consider Real, Barca and Juve direct rivals for the CL.

I can't help but be reminded of the VDV transfer on this one. Back then Real Madrid had to shift a player in their squad and Levy jumped at the chance. It seems he has done the same this time with PSG looking to offload. Only this time it hasn't happened late on transfer deadline day. I wonder if Levy will be keeping an eye on any other PSG player if they still need offload come Thursday

Pretty sure this got knocked on the head as it was similar scam to what City pulled. Sponsorship by the UAE tourist board for a ridiculously inflated amount. Obviously City got busted for this and a reduced squad in Europe.

By all accounts the medical took place in Paris, a very clever move, which saves time and reinforced our determination to sign him. Hope all ends well.

Can't wait until this transfer window is over and we know what we've got. Almost feels like the season hasn't even started yet.

That's what happens when you wait til deadline day to get players in unfortunately. Walker such a huge loss on a pitch that big. Should have been kept until Aurier was ready.
