Thought you used to go with your dad and brother?

Yeah I did, but neither of them are members and they can't be bothered to go to Wembley. Plus I think my mum would get pissed off at my dad if he went all the time! I'm trying to make the most of Wembley when it's easier to get tickets

I've been going by myself for years. I used to only go with friends but none of them ever signed up as members which meant i used to miss more games than I'd like to.
Also, I don't like people.

On your own?
Sadly I have to go to games on my own too because all my family are Chelsea and Portsmouth supporters & friends all support United in Dover.
When I lived in London would always go with someone now I'm a loner singing all by myself and being moaned at by fans behind me at Wembley for standing up and singing because they're casually sat in our end with chelsea hats on... not that I'm bitter.

It's annoying that buying Madrid and Dortmund tickets is essentially no cheaper than buying the package.

The pricing this season is completely shambolic, and the way the club is going about sales feels dishonest. The ludicrously short windows that are arbitrarily extended, the constant uncertainty over prices of the packages vs. individual tickets. It is unsettlingly close to scammer tactics, and judging from how many empty seats there were are Burnley it doesn't seem to be working.

Sorry how do you work that out, packages all cheaper: Dortmund/package
Cat1 55/125
Cat2 50/110
Cat 3 45/95
Cat 4 40/75

I mean that buying tickets to both Dortmund and Madrid is roughly the same price as buying the package (more in Cat 4, less in Cat 3).

It would have been good to have been able to make an informed decision when the packages came out. I feel like we're constantly being forced to panic buy tickets without really knowing what the deal is.

I do have my grievances with the pricing. It's undoubtedly too high across the board. But in fairness, the club can't win either. A couple of weeks ago they were criticised because individual match tickets (in worse seats) were cheaper than the equivalent season ticket price for league games. Now they're criticised because the season ticket price for champions league games is lower than the individual price.

Did anyone expect the package price to be more expensive than 3 individual tickets? :bored:

No one has said that.

The point is that you cannot make an informed decision about how good a deal the package deal is without knowing the individual prices. It's quite simple and obvious.

If you went into a supermarket and they tell you that you can buy two bottles of wine for £10, you would want to know what the cost of the individual bottles is before deciding whether that is a good deal. If they told you that you could only find out the price of the individual bottle after accepting or declining the offer, you would feel as though you were being pressured/scammed.

The purpose of the pricing method is not in doubt. They are clearly deliberately creating uncertainty and pressure in order to sell more tickets. The only question is whether that is an acceptable way of doing business. It is the kind of thing I would expect from Ryanair or Viagogo. After spending the best part of a thousand pounds on a season ticket, I would expect to be treated by the club with a bit more respect and transparency, rather than to have information deliberately withheld so that the club can try to squeeze a few more pounds out of me.

It was a gamble as originally you would have committed before the draw and the opponents could have all been lesser teams , as it is imo it's a bargain as two of the teams are top drawer.
Personally I don't see a problem as no way would the 3 individual have been less than the package, could have been on par but most likely more.

"I would expect"

That's your problem there. You neither deserve nor expect anything from spurs. Their attitude is if you don't like it, jog on - and that is fair, and perfectly simple. But at the same time they do their best, and that can mean a few get pissed off
