Other than good old fashioned reason.

Or do we think that Poch went to Levy at the start of the summer and said

"Do you know who I think could really transform our frontline? That weedy no-mark benchwarmer from Leicester who scored one goal last season."
No but he could have said, "that young kid at Leicester has been mismanaged ever since he got there and I can definitely get a tune out of him"

Re Barkley: Foreign clubs can agree 6 months in advance, domestic clubs can't. Far as i'm aware we'd have to wait for end of season or end of June to sign anything on paper.

Re funding ITK from earlier: THFC Funding PLC was the entity that "tapped" (issued more of an already existing) a bond maturing in 2043 for 186mio GBP. That was a month ago. My bank was not involved in the deal, and the above is technically public information.

My feeling at the time, however, was it was stadium related, perhaps it was separate/in addition to the RCF the other guy mentioned if he works for a bank that was on a different transaction.
Maybe we can contact our friends and Stadard Liege do some Zeki Fryers deal

Because that's what Poch wants, when we're playing in the CL and there's pressure from all corners for the team to win a trophy?

A punt on a scrawny kid who couldn't make the grade at Leicester?

Get the feeling it's going to be:

Sanchez
Aurier
Gray
Sessegnon

Foyth
Possibly Sancho

With sissoko heading out the door

I wouldn't say he couldn't make the grade but he has suffered as the result of a management change. Happened to plenty of better footballers.

My only frustration is we didnt sign him when he was cheap as we were supposedly interested.

Skipped a few pages so missed the Grey itk but I think people are being rather harsh on the boy, I rate him and he will be a good get for us.

Why don't you wait and see what happens tomorrow before sounding off like a spoilt brat that didn't get the dolly he wanted for Christmas.

Once the deadline has passed have at it.

Im seriously not keen on Gray,Max Meyer or Berardi would be much better options. Going forward Sessegnon and Zaha would give us the pace on the wings that we need but can't see either this season unfortunately

Isco wouldn't make the grade at West Brom, Messi would have never made the grade if he was British (too small for hoofball), Kane would not have made the grade under AVB.

If the club are going after Gray it is because the club* think he can serve a purpose. Just grow up and accept that cleverer people than you or I determine who we pursue.

(*I shouldn't have to say this but club means Levy, Poch and the scouting team)
