We can't have a continuous flow of info guys. Unless the itk people are Levy himself or in the room while he's talking to clubs we won't be getting updates on everything that is happening before they even happen. The conversations need to be had before we can actually find out about them

yeah i feel the same. i know the ITK's have alluded to a wide forward but i reckon its too late.

hopefully we can get llorente over the line and maybe barkley?

The theory is that the other clubs who would nick the player early in the window would have already filled their need and would no longer be around to nick the player.

Could it be Andre Gomes as the pacy WF? Herc saying he'd been played out of position? Plus Poch LOVES a versatile player...

Anyone know if he's fast?

We might be working on someone as we speak remember we have until 11pm to sort out a deal.

Wonder if we have given up hope on Everton meeting us on a fee we are happy with, perhaps Gomes being a bit of a bluff on our part that didnt work.

Llorente + pace would be my guess if two.

Then if Everton decide to get in touch last minute, great, if not, Poch (who it was said really wanted him) is content waiting till January to try again, esepcially as he may be out for a few months anyway.

I expect if Everton's demands were realistic they would have been met by now.

Except thats not been the case.chelsea want llorente and still in process of signing a right back.

In any case I am still holding out hope for a fast attacker after JJ said that we will buy a paceman.

It's not in that scenario but you do weed out a lot of the other buyers. Instead of bidding against 7 teams you're bidding against 1 or 2.

Ignoring the fact that he hasn't been a very good signing, Sissoko came around very late in the day didn't he?
Some people have very short memories.

But Chelsea are still in for Llorente and has come about because Swansea owe us money on a transfer. Can't see it was a top target.

Gomes isnt wanted by Barca and has been known about as being available for a while and I don't get the impression he was a planned top target.

Gray still has a lot of interest from others and isn't cheap and also wasn't a top target.
