Without wanting to tempt fate, Aurier, Gomes, Sanchez and Llorente would be a pretty insane window if it all got done (and Gazza of course).

There's no "pacy wide forward" there which obviously every Spurs fan apart from me it seems to think is utterly vital (even though we didn't have one last year either and scored more goals than anyone). Our full-backs provide our width so personally I wouldn't be bothered - Gomes would be the really exciting one for me - a really elegant, classy CM with a great range of passing - something we've been missing for a long time and a perfect foil for Wanyama or Dier. In fact to me it looks like Wanyama and Gomes would be the preferred two CM partnership, with Winks and Dier as their back-ups. Dembele can cover pretty much any position or move further forward.

I'd be over the moon if it all came off.
Foyth?

if it is llorente and gomes, that is really shit

gomes was great at valencia and llorente is a solid back up/different option, cant argue with that. ....... agree with majority on here that the winger/pacey forward is starting to get a tad worrying though.

i cant see why it is such an insane window when its

aurier for walker
sanchez great potential but in a position we are very strong in
back up striker and a player who was voted the worst signing in Spain by Marca last season

dont see at the moment why that is so amazing, it is ok at best i think
especially with all the positive itk about wingers, pace, we wont be disappointed etc
at the moment (things could all change) its very average

no creative player, no Barkley, no gamechanger winger

I can't see Dembele being dropped. Maybe rotated due to his hips.

By the way the people who are not getting excited about Andre Gomes are Nuts!

He isnt a winger or pacey but he is a brilliant number 10 and was signed BY Barcelona last season in hope of him being the hier to Iniesta.

The guy is genuinely class. I would be thrilled and i personally think it would be a massive coup for the club if we can pull it off.

January is literally 4 months away. If he's out till December why can't he just sit tight and move in January don't see why he'll be forced into signing a new contract. Signings new contract could rule him out for a move for a few years, and from outside looking in, I wouldn't say his relationship with the manager is that great.
Because let's say he recovers from his injury in November. He could go a potential 2 months without playing as won't be in managers plans unless he signs a contract. Plus he will have ambitions of playing at the world cup.

We need to buy him IMO. He is a long term investment.

A Madrid based paper naming a Barca player as the worst signing....

Also, Modric was named the worst signing in his first season at Madrid. All is not lost....

Moving ahead of West Ham for a player is like beating Stephen Hawkin in a wrestling match.
You effing bastard! I walked into a wall dying with laughter!

With his attitude he will probably never make it
Those grapes must taste really sour

Should have forced him to be included in Walker deal if we wanted him and why wouldn't we... just bizarre
I agree. We had the upper hand and could have insisted on Sancho as they needed Walker more than us wanting him to go to a main rival anyway
