If that was true, then surely Pochetino would have played N'koudou a hell lot more last season.

Almost all the ITK's have suggested it is true and I have no reason to dismiss that. Added to our performances so far this season, it's clear to see we need pace, someone to face up a defender and beat them; N'Koudou didn't show enough of that last season to play hell of a lot more, a too many times he'd turn back, shield the ball and play it back.

We need the 'pacey' player badly that itk has suggested as it will be a 'gamechanger' imo and give us a greater chance if competing

Jamie Weir Sky Sports just said we've failed in a bid for Lucas moura - too late to get a work permit
Work permit wouldnt be an issue. you do the deal subject to work permit... Given transfer value it wouldn't be an issue surely. Could see it break down for other reasons but that couldnt be it...

Both our first choice full backs provide the pace - that was one of the keys to our success last year. We had no trouble in the final third. Also funny that people think that even our forwards lack speed - they may not have blistering pace (bar perhaps Son) but their positioning is really amazing as is their ability to consistently hunt the ball down from the opposition (our pressing game). There is a 'pace bias' often - in some teams, it looks very effective (Liverpool) but top level football is more about intelligence and movement.
