We haven't strengthened we just replaced like for like

1 thing is for certain though and if the window ends like this Mr Pochettino will be severely disappointed with Daniel Levy and his stupid cheque book policies

Appalling is trading Berbatov for Frazier fucking Campbell on loan.
Ffs get a grip man....if you're daft enough to believe every bit of ITK and every press rumour will come to fruition that's your own fault.

Club know KWP isn't ready so Aurier replaces walker. Llorente hasn't been mentioned anywhere and screams desperation.

Foyth would be amazed if he made 1 first team appearance this season

Don't get my wrong aurier and Sanchez and more than capable and decent replscents but that's all we've done.

Everyone knows we needed pace injecting - it's was obvious. But for another window we seemed to have completely got it wrong.

I'm just worried we're standing still and others are really progressing

Gomes would turn a decent window into a good one, be a little bit flat if it doesn't happen.

Gomes and Janssen are both involved in international matches at the moment so I doubt we'll hear anything about either of them for a while.

Exactly, we've basically covered the players we've lost and improved on a back up striker. We need players to challenge Son, Alli and Eriksen

Let's not forget Wishkah's info. He's seen something "financial" related to a transfer. I'm still hoping that we've got at least one other player on the way.

No I'm not young. It's not believing what anyone says it's watching our team - every man and his dog knows what we've needed all summer. We had to get a wide option and for me if we miss out then it's a huge fuck up by us

JJ is obviously very closely connected but remember he intimated we'd get Berahino on deadline day... It's all in the lap of the money gods.

Chelsea and Arsenal would kill to have the window we had. Both squads are worse today than they were at the end of last season.

Liverpool never addressed their defensive woes.

Only Man United and Man City spent their way to improvement this summer - and they had a bit of catching up to do.

The FA have a panel convened in the player registration offices at Wembley throughout deadline day to debate and grant/deny work permits in about 10 mins a go. If a club wants a player, the decision is pretty quick!

Re: Moura - would be interesting if he was signed less than 24 hours after Poch said he wasn't good enough for the Prem and he would prefer Di Maria (full article in the Moura/DiMaria player thread).

I just don't get this obsession with pace. Our paceless team was being lauded everywhere in April & May, we destroyed teams. Where were people saying "this is alright, we need more pace though" then ? Driving me mad
