There's no need to get personal. It's just my opinion, disagree if you want, no need to be an asshole about it. I support this team just as much as you do.
But it’s boring and unrelated to ITK. Nobody wants your opinion about the state of the squad in here, today. The aftermath thread is fine or start an actual thread in spurs chat but this is for deadline day ITK

Just shows you how much shit SSN make up...

"We understand that during the France match, Lemar's would be Arsenal team mates: Lacazette, Giroud and Koscielny, all tried to persuade him to join Arsenal but to no avail..."

They are full of shit. Who told them this?! (n)
BBC reported this too. It sounds entirely plausible.

I like to think that Lloris was making stupid faces at the window while this serious persuasion was underway.

A single injury to any of Eriksen, Dembele, or Winks would instantaneously throw us into crisis. If we aren't going to sign either Gomes or Barkley then we genuinely need to recall Onomah.

Hmmm seems a bit strange that we haven't strengthened the midfield area.

Especially given all the optimism from the ITKs.

To be fair, if Llorente gets 10 PL goals for us this season that would have a massively positive effect on our league position

Could win us another 10 to 15 pojnts

So not all bad

Plus there's 45 minutes left (y)

Can an ITK please put us out of our misery? Seriously i'd rather have someone tell me its done then sit about with my hand down my trousers hoping for a miracle.
Not sure any of the itk's can give you a miracle in your trousers tbh....Be happy with what you have :D:D

I'm not angry, just disappointed if this is all we end up with it feels like a missed opportunity to kick on and show some real intent... I think this is important, not least to show the existing quality players that we are ambitious about winning things as a club and not just about turning a profit / improving the club's value.

I appreciate that it is difficult with the financing of the stadium and it is clear that the stadium is needed to take us to the next level. I suppose the hard part is it seems that it has come at a bad time in reality where we have one of the best managers and most talented group of players I can remember in my lifetime but the need to fund the stadium and the financial constraints are holding us back from taking that next step where we all want to be. I just hope it doesn't mean that our manager and key players lose faith and start to form the same views as Rose expressed in The Sun.

I guess I just wanted my 'game changer' signing and was hoping that was what was being kept under wraps....

How did he have a medical at Chelsea when the supposed reason we're not going for it is because he wouldn't be able to complete his medical?

Weird.

So Sky saying Barkley actually got down to the Chelsea training ground for a medical then pulled out. Thought he wanted us? Or it's bullshit.
