Maybe llorente will get announced in the morning.

Anyway great work on the site mods, super smooth and stable, and plenty of entertainment as usual.
Gonna miss the meltdown and counter melt but Time sleep

Off to bed now, been up since 5am and don't think I can stand seeing the toy throwers en massed at the end of the window.

For what it's worth, I think we have had a very decent window.

I don't get it. Surely we would rather have him doing his recovery with us, taking time to gel with the squad? Seems weird to leave him there for 6 months for no real benefit.

And no doubt we'll open with a serious bid on the 31st January.

I understand why we do it, but it really does get old after a while.

That said, decent window I think.

Happy with the signings we have made but yeh.... we are still lacking in key areas. A bit dissapointing really, be interesting to find out what happened cos Llorente, although a good player, is far from the type of player we were led to believe we were getting

after the dust has settled, i'd love to hear about the wing forwards we were after, and in turn why we couldn't pull them off.

if we were really serious about getting a pacey winger we wouldnt't have left it till the last day, this was always going to be the outcome

Disappointing considering what we've been told was in the pipeline..

But on the face of it that's an OK window. We are normally quite efficient at getting rid of dead wood but there's a few players still at the club which clearly aren't good enough.

Well you know....

I'm just hopeful this means Lamela is close to returning to be honest.

We've got a strong squad and Sanchez and Aurier are upgrades in my opinion.

Just surprised by Barkley really - but we all know the football gods hate Tottenham, so his injury being real shouldn't be too much of a shock...

So we've come into the day expecting to possibly sign Llorente, Gomes and a wide forward, the latter two fall down. If all else fell through I'd rather get him in now. If he's back in December at the latest there's a lot of games between then and 31st January.

It isn't 6 months plus we will get him for a lot cheaper. I think it makes perfect sense.

Sky keep insisting that Llorente is still having his medical; that's been going on for about ten hours now. The poor fucker must be getting a crash course Poch preseasoner
