He hasn't actually signed yet has he. Hope he does, cause we need a guy like that this season. We've also got to sign a fast winger/wingback!

Now signed up. Still in two minds about this but hope his experience will be valuable to this young squad and he scores us lots of goals. Still think Janssen will develop but feel his playing time will be more limited....the guy needs a break. If they can now sign Gomez on loan from Barca that will put the cock in cockerel .

So I guess everything Guillem Balague says isn't bullshit, after all.

But I guarantee you that, next time he comments on something that might affect Spurs, people will tell you that everything Guillem Balague says is bullshit. Because it has to be, or they weren't right.

Good signing, I'd back him to score either from the bench or open play rather than Janssen!
This is just the point. I like Janssen and think he'll come good but right now Poch doesn't seem to trust him. When Burnley equalised, even though it was late I expected Janssen to come on but he didn't. We'll use Llorente more.

As always, take everything with a pinch of salt when it comes to Ballague. The man is not only a proven bullshitter over the course of more than a decade (he touted Fernando Torres as 'confirmed' signing for about fifty different clubs before he eventually moved from Atletico), he doesn't even have the saving grace of being the metaphorical blind squirrel occasionally finding a nut - he is literally ALWAYS wrong, to the extent that it's almost impressive. Ballague saying that Llorente is officially a Tottenham player is the firmest evidence yet that he'll end up at Chelsea.

Hail Balague, never doubted him for a second.

Haha fair point, but his hit rate for being right is incredibly low to the point that he can only be a bullshit artist. Even yesterday, he claimed it was 100% done hours before anyone else - could mean he was ahead of the curve, but history suggests he just took a punt on a likely move and it turned out to be correct. I cannot emphasise enough just how many times he has 'confirmed' moved as being completed, only for the move not to happen. With Torres alone he touted him as having completed moves to half of Europe.
