Get all the half fit half injured people out of the team. Trip pier and Wanyama aren't at the races yet and exposing them doesn't

Do people really think Poch is going to drop Dier for Sanchez?

Maybe it's more likely that he'd drop Wanyama for Dier if either one but I'd like to think we have plans to implement a £38m signing into our team sooner rather than later and Vertonghen plus Alderweireld are obviously not being dropped.

Unless Tripps is injured, I dont see him being dropped for Aurier immediately... we know Poch doesn't work this way
Hope I am wrong as want Aurier in as he is different class to Tripps but remember the summer when he was allegedly told he was the first RB..

Tripps is a great back up - games against Watford etc but not first class but I think it is going to take a few weeks for Aurier to displace him, hope I am wrong.

The tripps injury (pulled out of England squad) may help though
Had he not had a really poor start to the season, I'd agree about not dropping him but he's cost us the two games at Wembley and should be dropped.

When you have two quality players fighting for a spot in the team, if one performs badly, they get dropped. That's just the nature of the beast.

Ambitious line up. I like it, apart from KWP as LWB. We have Sanchez and Aurier new to the team and system, so having a young KWP playing as a LWB doesn't make sense with all the other change going on. KWP can play both sides, but more natural and at ease on the right. Davies will do the job fine.
Davies will keep getting rinsed by Holgate.

I'd prefer we take the a slight risk with KWP and gain more counter threat, attacking penetration and speed in recovery - more dynamism.

Sick of seeing uber-careful keep ball. Want to see a bit more calculated risk in our game to extract the most out of our attacking potential.

Davies would be on the bench if it didn't work out.

Think we need to be more adventurous at times, this season.

*yeah, I know Poch won't play all the newbies...it's what I think would suit this game.

The seven up front should cause a stir though...

So it'l be a 3-4-2-1-7?

Think with that line up we will nick it 1-24

Aurier steps right in and I think we'll go to three at the back.

-------------------------- Lloris ----------------------------
------- Dier ------------ Toby -------------- Verts ------
- Aurier ------ Wanyama - Dembele ----- Davies-
------ Eriksen -------------------------- Alli -------------
-------------------------- Kane ----------------------------

Subs: Vorm, Sissoko, Sanchez, Llorente, Trippier, Son, Winks

As has been pointed out Poch doesn't like to drop players immediately for new signings.

However with Dortmund on Wednesday I think he has the perfect excuse.

I would debut Sanchez against Everton - and then debut Aurier from the start against Dortmund.

If Wanyama is not fit for the bench, I think it might be interesting to start KWP at LWB and having Davies as a CB option on the bench with either GKN(if fit), Vince or Edwards on the bench for Wanyama. If You dont swap KWP and Davies, then I think you have to put Sissoko on the bench for Wanyama just to have some muscle on it.

If Trippier is not fit but Wanyama is, then either GKN, Edwards or Vince for him. If neither are fit, Sissoko and one of the 3 previously named.

Aurier should start at RWB either way. But I can see why Poch wouldnt want to yet. So it wouldnt surprise me if Trippier or KWP(depending on Trippier's fitness) start.

It does feel nice to have some more options now. I cant wait until Lamela and Rose get back too. If we stick with the 343, a Vorm, Davies/Trippier, Dier/Wanyama, Winks, Son, Lamela, Llorente bench looks great.

I don't disagree with you at all, but just not sure Poch will do it... as I said I hope I am wrong!

Trippier has done enough to get dropped. Did you watch the last game? I also don't see him dropping Dier.

Aurier Alderweild Vertongen Davies
Dier Dembele
Eriksen Alli Son
Kane

As I said in my note, I do not disagree with this at all, he was badly at fault against Burnley 100%
I am not saying he shouldn't be dropped, in fact I am saying he should be but its not how Poch has worked previously, but I hope I am wrong!

You're always taking calculated risks when you start new players, not 'cause of their ability, but just because everything's new to them in a different league, the pace of the game and type of play, with new team mates.

It's a new system for them, and they have to develop an understanding with the team. I like the idea of Aurier and Sanchez being blooded early, but throwing in KWP at LWB at this stage makes no sense!
