He'll have to compete for a first-team spot with Soldado...

I don't think we'll see him again at Spurs - the Turkish league won't help him one bit in adapting to the Premiership... My two cents...

Hope he does well, but I still feel this leaves us a bit light if Harry or Llorente pick up knocks and they could do with a rest instead of being forced to play.

they'll use Son. It gives us three very different options - all round striker in Kane, big man in Llorente and pace with Son. Can't say that VJ offers us enough of any of those things. Never know, he might come back a better player...

Good luck to him but I'd say that is his Spurs career over. Shame it didn't work out but these things happen.

Don't see him playing another competitive game for us in all honesty. Could never fault his effort so good luck to the lad.

Never thought he will fail as hard as Soldado...but he came very very close.

It is sad cause I liked both. At least I have a favourite Turkish side now ;). Our no.9 is cursed.

It's a damn shame cos he's a good kid, has the right attitude but just seems to be a limited overall, Let's face it, we wanted to sign Batshuayi that summer and he was the backup option that didn't work out at all.

I hope he has a good, solid career cos like many others, I don't see him playing for us again.

Llorente was a smart buy and will be a genuinely solid option to rotate with Harry and then next summer we'll need to have a good look at a proper all round striker that can pressure Kane and be a viable backup along with Llorente.

Him and soldado up front for fenerbache. Had a text from a Turkish mate of mine who was asking about him.

I said not to sit behind the goal with those two up top!
