As I said on the other thread about this incident, it's unacceptable that Alli gets caught on camera giving the finger, but players constantly use foul and offensive language towards officials, and nothing is ever done about it...

I think everyone on earth can lip-read "fuc**ng c**t" when players are in honest deliberation with a referee. Nothing gets done.

This is so silly (boarding on a witch hunt) all the swearing and blatant play acting taking place by players on the field of play doesn't involve a FiFA's investigation....why?

I also feel the British press are idiots blowing this whole thing up. If the referee had did his job properly and gave a foul, it might of been avoided.

Bollocks! He stuck his finger up at a team mate for fuck sake. He was just unfortunate that the camera was on him at exactly the same time. It's hardly a big deal sticking a finger up (that's what she said...).

Alli gets a rough ride from our own pundits, who have fueled an opinion to non Spurs supporting fans.

Often Alli gets highlighted for his reaction to blatant fouls not given, gets vilified followed by the comment "you can't take that side of his character away blah blah"...If anyone has noticed, Alli does receive an unseen amount of fouls committed against him....I personally feel he isn't been protected enough by referees.

Nothing 'unfortunate' about it at all. He's playing International football with dozens of cameras pointing at him at all times. No way his stupid behaviour isn't going to be picked up and he, of all people should know that by now. He simply doesn't learn. There are people who can't wait to be outraged at the slightest thing, especially a highly paid footballer. Dele needs to grow up and stop doing such stupid things. Beckham learned pretty damn quick after 'kicking' Simeone in the WC. Dele needs to do the same.

Come on, he's only human. Just because he's on tv it doesn't mean he's going to be perfect and not swear. We're not talking about kicking out at a player like Beckham did. This is just a middle finger put up towards a team mate. Southgate made nothing of it so I don't see there's anything to learn. The only thing he can learn is how fussy the media and the FA can be. Players swear in an aggressive manner all the time and yet Alli does it as an inside joke and they're looking to punish him. It's stupid.

Beckham hardly touched Simeone but got sent off. He never did anything like it again. Dele's had a couple of seasons at the top and the number of incidents keeps going up. It's not about what supporters think (I personally couldn't care less), but the FA want our players to be squeaky clean, and Dele can't get that notion into his skull.

I hope Dele tells FIFA they are all morons and gets banned 10 international matches. He should then be fit for us the entire season.
