It was a good debut, but he wasn't perfect. There was a few times in the first half where he could have done better defensively.
You do know that it was his 1st game for a new club, playing for a team with players he hadn't played with before against one of the top teams in Europe?

He was a bit too keen. But he was a better option than trip (sorry trip). After an injection of pochicitinitus he will be amazing.

You know when you look at RM
Players and think woah they are so good they can play their way out. We have one.

Hence why I said he was good, but not perfect. Did you think he was perfect?

From where I was sitting he seemed tiny.

He's definitely shorter than I thought he would be, but very strong and quick on top of good decision making and timing. Nice little exchange with Eriksen by the corner flag too.

Shows how much people know. Voted the best RB in France and Africa, and this is the stupid comment someone can come with. How many red cards has he had in his career?

2 in 8 seasons, including UEFA & domestic cups

Brilliant! And he'll get better.

Minus the brain farts.......speaking of which.......

Kyle Walker on social media mocking a teammate for being nutmegged.

It's just banter. Mendy mocked him for diving asking where the sniper was with a picture of walker looking like he was shot

I know but I do think it gives you an insight into his character in that he takes his eye off the ball. Wouldn't surprise me if it's the kind of thing poch picked up on. Doesn't really seem like a winner's mentality to me.

Not directing this at you...but to continue to the "short", "tiny" narrative...

I'm not sure what people were expecting from someone nicknamed a "beast".

I ran a rough pub for ten rough years and 9 times out of 10 the toughest, strongest "beasts" that would walk through the door or sometimes work the door (pre and post-SIA)....were the stocky or wirey 5'8-5'10 guys who would often make mincemeat out of the 6'2-6'7 so called "beasts".

Have a lower centre of gravity and with a muscular frame on top... often made short work of the taller, so called "bigger" blokes.

Height has very little to do with being powerful or fearsome.
