I know this has been discussed in the Pundits thread but really, the man is already a Spurs legend and a world talent who continues to defy people's expectations - even if the pundits beg to differ. So Phil Neville, go fuck yourself, because Harry is already world class you muppet and he can do it all at Spurs.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...have-leave-tottenham-become-world-class-says/

The man has been scoring for fun now for three seasons and all the insults regarding him being a one season wonder, have been put to bed. He has been courageous in not responding to the naysayers. He has stayed focused and set new targets for himself, improving constantly. He has gone about his business like a true professional. Yes, he has had to develop other parts of his game but he is a natural goal scorer. One of a rare breed indeed.

Lets not get into the tired old banter about 'is he world class' BS because he is - right here right now and has been for a while.

I hope all you Spurs fans out there are enjoying Harry Kane time because you only get a few diamonds like this in a football generation. I never expected another one so quickly after Bale. I know, I've been a Spurs fan for over 50 years and I am loving it!

He's a proper footballer. Vastly underrated because he's English. He could fuck around showboating, letting everyone see his 'tekkers', there's no doubting to anyone that watches him that he is as skillfull as he is powerful, but he's too busy putting the ball in the net. Premier League, Champions League, International, ticks every box.

In my lifetime we've had a few good strikers (Sheringham, Keane, Berbatov, Defoe, Rasiak*) but Harry Kane is on a different level. In terms of pure goalscoring he's up there with the very best in that you're just sat there expecting him to score every single game - it's incredibly rare and it's such a privilege to have him.

The fact that most other teams fans hate him and think he is shit says it all. Clear threat and none are honest enough to watch him and realise he scores so many goals because he is just that good!

I don't really get this argument that you have to be at a club that's winning stuff to be World Class. If Harry had been playing for Madrid last season he wouldn't be a better player than he is now, but he would probably have a champions league winners medal. How does that suddenly make him world class?

OK, I give up. Which one on your list of strikers is the odd one out?

Sometimes players look absolutely quality at a smaller club then when they move to a bigger club they look out of their depth.

So I can understand why some say he has to win titles and play for a big club to prove his ability.

I disagree with this though as he is scoring a ridiculous amount of goals and does it internationally as well.

Le Tissier was quality but never won anything.

Kane is doing really well and people will try and bring him down. Just the way things are.

Ive just returned from ready the comments in a Guardian article on Kane about lasts nights match.

Full of troll comments from Goons and other twats.

There was also a great apiece about Toby in the Guardian online.

To think a few seasons back, I thought the best thing he'll ever do was boot the ball into row z on 90mins when caught offside whilst beating Man U 2-1 at Old Trafford. What the fuck do I know eh?

HK has done stuff like this on many occasions, a quick old fashioned football brain to gain advantage.

Make sure you focus on his game as much as possible because someday you're going to have to answer your grandkids questions on what it was like to watch Harry Kane play for Tottenham, in the same way you asked your parents and grandparents what it was like to watch Greaves, Hoddle, Gazza etc

I remember at the time thinking he had potential. Good all round game but not special at anything so wouldn't hit the required level until his early to mid 20s.

Completely agree. I hate the similar argument that unless Messi wins the World Cup he won't be considered on the greats. What a load of crap!
