yeah i dibt understand that change. is he playing as a striker? thought he was more of a wide player.
He is a wide player but I'm not sure where they are playing as they haven't said on the radio. I reckon they've put Son upfront and N'Koudou out wide.

At exactly the point in the game when you would expect a lower league team to tire, after running around on a huge pitch for an hour. Premier league quality combined with premier league fitness almost always makes the difference in games like this.

Still, we can't even score against Barnsley... Levy fucked poch over... No pace... And so on.

PACE!?!

Jesus Christ, can we stop with this "PACE" bollocks.

75% of the teams we play are going to put men behind the ball. Pace is about as useful against teams with men behind the ball as tits on a bull.

We've changed grounds, we're aclimatating. If we were at the Lane this year we'd be top of the league at this stage. The only teams we could do with having a bit more pace for are Liverpool, Chelsea and maybe City. Anyone else will play cagey. Pace means very little unless you're playing Fifa.

Denis Irwin, Paolo Maldini, Alberto Tarantini, Azpilicueta, Zambrotta...

Chelsea were shit when Azpiliquetta played there. He is no longer the square peg in the round hole, since they bought a LEFT BACK.

Denis Irwin I give you

Aside from the fact you are trying to compare Maldini to Trippier, How many times did you see him play on the wrong side? I'm 2 offered if theres a spread bet going.

Zambrotta was useless on the side he should have been good on. So a freak.

That is the problem again for the management team on why are they allowing such a ponderous build up play, surely it can't be that hard to quicken it up or is this an instruction from them.

Yeah, I mean I really don't know to be honest. Even last season there were games in which we'd start slow and all of a sudden we'd start playing with the right tempo in the 2nd half and you'd just be wondering why it hadn't happened earlier. I said after the Swansea game that sometimes we just don't help ourselves in players holding onto the ball for too long, passing backwards, sidewards, slowly etc.

I didn't see the Man City v Watford game but my dad said after so it was like ours was in slow motion, which doesn't surprise me.

I had to attend a mandatory fire lecture and the speaker turned out to be a Gooner. He pointed out how important oxygen was for fire to spread. So, I asked him whether that was why it was safe to let off flares at The Emirates, because there's no atmosphere there.

no, streaming talksport. Im assuming there isnt a camera crew in the stadium - I dont think its on TV anywhere in the world.

Sky Sports News summary are showing all EFL goals after they go in, not much use to the rest of the world I'm afraid.

Completely agree, this whole pace obsession is ridiculous. Pace means f all if you don't have brains or ability with the ball.
