I suspect we could be seeing Son ahead of Alli in selections from now on.

Aurier just needs time to adjust, Wanyama was exactly like this for his first season(s) as well.

Well deserved, Aurier will have hopefully learned a lesson today.

Seems like the type of guy who gets swept up in the occasion like lamela.
But doesn't have that Erik slyness to stamp on your nut sack without anyone noticing

Needs to wisen up before the real derby

Mixed performance.

Some good stuff though. Jan was superb. Again. Had a fantastic start to the season.

And thought that Sissoko played well again, i think poch has finally figured out how to utilise him (except last week). His runs from midfield just allow eriksen to get into space.

Aurier, was walking on a tightrope all day. It is going to take him in a while to get up to speed with the premier league in terms of types of infringements that receive bookings, but on the otherside, his qualities as a player were there to see. Just needs to iron out a few things, which i am sure poch will do, and also make him better defensively too.

Also shout out to Winks and llorente, both contributed coming on.

Also down to ten men we coped pretty well, aside from a superb cross they looked toothless to be honest.

Where to start... Didn't think we were amazing in the first half, smash and grab saw us 2-0. Second half saw us shelling, still had a few chances, 3-0 up (for me a bit flattering, but I am one of many opinions...) quickly becomes 3-1 as we shell a bit more. Aurier then makes things difficult for us, and I don't think we/Poch reacted that well to going down to 10 men.

I dunno..... Still not massively convinced by this approach yet. Seems effective so ultimately that's what matters, wouldn't say performance-wise and in the facets I value that it blows me away.

NBC saying Spam should have had a pen for Sanchez on Carroll. No mention of Ali being tripped, of course.

He's six feet four and one of the strongest players in the league yet goes down when someone puts a hand on his back. He was lucky not to get booked for diving. He also headbutted Aurier and got involved in the scuffle at the end. Probably injured himself with all that action today.

Poor performance from Aurier. Looked shaky from the get go. He needs a lot of work. Didn't look a PL quality FB at all.

He looked fine to me, did some good things but he was a little rash, needs to cut out the sliding tackles.

Poch is the FB whisperer, Serge is gonna be a beast by the time he's finished with him, although I don't think he was as bad as a lot are making out today, seemed pretty promising up until the brain fart.

Still not quite sure how we got ourselves into such a mess today. Missed too many chances when ahead I guess.

A bit more nervy than it should have been today, largely due to the sending off, which in fairness was deserved.

A bit worried about Dele at the moment, his assist aside, thought his decision making was poor again today.

Every time you see him, he's always whining and complaining to the ref about how done by he is. Total twat, west ham deserve him.

Dele seems to have lost some of his self confidence.

He had several chances to get shots in but decided to dally and end up losing the ball.
