Sanchez is first team 100%.dier and Son debatable ,some would even argue Davies. Our squad is better than people make out.

I think Davies may play left centre back in a three with KWP coming in as a left wing back - Aurier may stay as right wing back
the midfield almost picks itself Dier Sissoko and Winks just leaves a choice of Son or Llorente I think he might go for the spaniard with Kane dropping off a touch - though thats a tough call

How often has Davies played at CB for us in the past? I very much doubt this will happen especially with Foyth available. Will be Foyth or Dier making up the back three, or more likely we revert back to a four.

There's an argument to be made for going 4-4-2 and playing Kane up top with Llorente.

GKN could play right wing like he did in pre-season seeing as he's right footed and more of a true winger. Son could play off the left as he is decent off either foot and could still pose as a goal threat.

Harry has the ability to drop in as a number 10 if required but ultimately we'd be looking to get crosses in from both fullbacks and wingers for Nando to nod home.

Dier and Sissoko or Winks in CM.

Toby and Sanchez at CB, Aurier and Davies at FB.

Hugo
Aurier Toby Sanchez Davies
GKN Winks Dier Son
Kane Llorente

What I think Poch will do.....

Hugo
Toby Sanchez Foyth
Aurier Sissoko Dier Davies
Kane Son
Llorente

To my mind we need experience to help us navigate what will be a tricky tie so I fully expect Llorente to start.

Llorente doesn't look fit at the moment for me, that and the fact him and Kane have no real understanding yet, makes it a bit of a risk.

think playing kane behind llorente is the way to go. The cypriots would have been working on stopping kane as a lone forward. GKN is the impact sub

I think more is being made of the number of players out, than is necessary tbh. We were always going to rotate 2 or 3 players from Saturday which is effectively all we will be doing. The headline is 7 players out for tonight's game, but that far from tells the actual story IMO.

I agree with that. Better to be looking at the players we can line up tonight, rather than who can't play.

I think if we could rest Harry for this game that would be ideal but I dont want to overlook the Cypriots not sure how good they are but any chance to rest Kane I would use it.

You don't really have much of a choice when you have 5 starting midfielders out.

I think you play your strongest team to ensure qualification before you make major changes to team. No matter who the opposition is.

As frustrating as these injuries are, there is one plus, APOEL won't have a clue how we are going to line up, if the collective brains on SC cant work it out!

Ive no idea, but you'd think that this was typically the kind of game he was bought for. A tricky unknown european game against seasoned champions league competitors.

I think APOEL have quite a few missing as well.

This will be about a team performance, I just hope we have enough quality to move the ball quickly.
Happily take a scrappy 1-0 win.

I'm heding my bets on this 11:

Lloris
Alder Sanchez Foyth
Aurier Dier Winks Davies
Sissoko Kane Son

this would be my alternative

Lloris
