Davies is decent at LCB, played there for Wales.

Aurier on the left and not Trippier I bloody hope.

Come on boys.

So you think this one game would propel him into the starting lineup ahead of Dier, Dembele, and Wanyama when everyone is fit?

Pochettino clearly considers him an important member of the squad, and he'll start many games this season. Your original post came across as if Pochettino has suddenly forgotten the whole of last season.
lol okay then

Bit late now but we would have been better off playing a back 4 with Kane dropping a little deeper and playing off Son and Llorente.

But that was largely a different squad though. That is also fact. 1 goalie and 2 CMs are expected to start tonight from the team that did have a highly acceptable Europe League season (not a good CL season) last season. They also have new main coach.
I don't know why you're hanging on to this E.S?!!
I'm pretty sure those 11 home wins in 13 games are spread over numerous seasons with different players and managers!
The same could be said of our blinding home record in Europe for many seasons.
Never underestimate a fired up home team in European competition.
That said - I think we've matured as a team and are enjoying playing away from home at the moment.

It's borderline inconceivable to think that Madrid won't advance so I for one hope they take maximum points off of Dortmund.
