A very disjointed and unimpressive performance. Again Poch's selection and tactics unconvincing, but at least he tried to rectify it by reverting to a back four and brought on Lloriente for two at the top which altered the play and changed the overall performance

Anyway bearing in mind the depleted squad, a good win and valuable 3 points playing away in Europe.

The only reason I will give MOTM to Kane over Winks is because of the perfect hat trick. One with each foot and the header!

Kane.

Defensively we've looked a little tim Sherwood so far this season . Not sure why , maybe new faces being integrated

The score not reflecting the performance really. Missing Eriksen more than we should. Thought we were really poor most of the guys out there today. Could have gone terrible wrong if they had scored, and we didn't have Kane.

Poor
Son, Son
Sissoko, meh
Aurier, stinker - worse crossing than Walker

OK
Toby, thought he was poor. If not for the assist
Trip, wasted on the left (FFS POCH). Did ok on the right, but not really challenged
Dier, liked Dier more today. Not so many forced passes and not so many stupid fouls.
Lloris, 2 good saves, terrible kicking as usual
Davies, OK
Sanchez, Shaky at start

Good
Winks, why are we not playing this guy more? He's already up there with Dembele
Kane, Kane. He's getting ridiculous.

Before the over analysis begins think of th eplayers we are missing, especially Eriksen at short notice. Even with a full strength team we would have a tie like this. It was a mismash formation and players with little regular game time so far this season.

The only reason Winks hasn't played more is because he's being eased back after his injury, think he's more than capable of stepping into Dembeles shoes full time now.

Obviously Kane was motm but thought Winks did well and Sissoko was lively and worked hard. The rest to be honest were pretty average.

Good result without Verts, Rose, Wanayama, Dembele, Eriksen and Alli who can genuinely claim to be first choice 11.

Meh, good is not really the word. Great assist, ok. But in general play meh. Thought he was invisible in the middle 3, when we switched to 4-4-2 you could see it suited him more.

I've been one of Sissoko's biggest critics, but he was massively improved tonight. Much better 1st touch, no un-forced errors, good running into space

Hugo - Looks like a better Gomes everytime, better in defensive, less errors, but still very gomes

Toby - Not the best game

Sanchez - Good game

Trippier - I think he is better than aurier if we face weaker opponents (atm)

Aurier - still need time

Dier - Ok

Winks - Still need time too. But he is almost there

Sissoko - looks really good as a wide midfielder in 442

Kane - Bale. Except he won't leave us

Son - Poor match.

Llorente - What a buy. He may not be a world-class player (anymore). But he is so useful in terms of tactics. Excellent partner for kane

GNK - He really needs to improve his final decision making

Poch - MOTM really. To those who think that he has no plan B. No, he has a plan B if he gets the right player. The 442 switch/llorente is really good.

What a great result in a difficult place to go.

For todays game I thought it spoke volumes about the absence of a certain Mr Vertonghen. Toby had a decent game in my opinion, but Verts really helps keep it all organised and tidy. He was missed today probably more than others. I thought, overall, whilst a bit disjointed the team did well against an organised side, set up to counter attack. But defensively, it was remarkably unPoch like at times. Too much space between the CB's when AOL attacked and the flanks... who was defending the flanks!!!!

Of note for me individaully,

Sissoko, worked hard....

I thought Winks, considering his lack of game time had an accomplished game. Good player.

Aurier obvously still needs time to settle in and find his feet properly. Come at me folks, but I don't see what he does to displace Trippier at RB. Not yet anyway. He was a bit wasteful at times. Wasn't terrible by any means.

Son is rusty. He is a more than capable player and needs a run of games, as shown by his first half miss and that pass he fluffed.

Lloris made some decent saves.

Kane Sissoko Winks in that order for me. I know it's fashionable to bag on Sissoko, but he has started to show he can play well and show some consistency.

Strange formation with some resulting poor performances. Aurier though was shocking; he was always out of position, always beaten for pace and more. His first game for us showed he can play but he clearly needs some time to settle in.

Only one MOTM - Kane was impressive with the three he scored. He looks almost dismissive when he is on this sort of form as he showed in the last two games of the Premier League last time
