I'm not sure. I think it was just the perfect storm.

I'm glad they won it though. If they didn't, it would have meant Arsenal pipping us to the title on the final day!!! Fuck that!
Maybe but I think we'd have approached them final games with a different attitude. We only needed to win one of our last 3 to finish above Arsenal. If the players weren't so gutted after not winning the title I'm sure they'd have seen it through.

They learned from that the following season though, Even Gerard in one of his post match analysis last season said he admired how we had got back up and got on with it where as his Liverpool side never really got going after they lost the title.

It was, they went all the way to the moon to do it too.

Reasonable supposition is that they went, but the cameras (film) could not make it through Van Allen Belt, so they did some staging of pictures, let's be honest, why otherwise would they take all the cameras and not take pictures of space at all ...

Not sure myself, but the Kubrick stuff is interesting.

You’re joking right, I’m a professional photographer of 30 years and although I haven’t been to the moon the astronauts took those pics on the moon.

Huddersfield Bob:

The result was disappointing, but my main concern is whether or not the moon landing really happened. I know you can look through a powerful telescope and literally see the tyre tracks and equipment left behind by the astronauts that went there, but that could easily have been planted there by aliens.

Why did they not point the cameras outwards to space then?

Have you looked at the anomalies?

Anyway, as said, I'm not sure.

This is a guy who is reportedly a film expert, who has given evidence in court due to his expertise, he definitely thinks something is wrong! :

I deserve all the spam I'm about to get (but if people can read, they will see I'm neutral here, playing devils advocate)

No point. The sunlight on the Moon meant that they wouldn't have been able to photograph anything out in space. It's why there are no stars in the pictures taken on the Moon.

How many hours were they there for then?

Doesn't make sense to me. The whole Van Allen oddities (and nobody going since) troubles me (though I know Van Allen himself believed it could be traversed).

The Chinese were due to go in 2020, which would potentially put some of this to bed.

Christ almighty, enough of the moon landing talk. Create a thread in general chat or something.

Japan sent a probe to the Moon a few years back to trace the path of the Lunar module. If you look at the footage of the probe, and the film made by the yanks when they landed on the Moon side by side (available online) you can see that the rock formations and craters in both videos are identical.

The Van Allen belt issue was dismissed by Van Allen himself.

*edit - last I'll post on the subject, as it's ever so slightly off topic!

Agree that we're spammed this enough, let's just both agree I was right and move on... :)

It was odd how they were destined to be relegated then suddenly started winning almost every game.

It was odd watching Pearson becoming increasingly shifty in interviews around that time, then mysteriously sacked.

It was odd how a mediocre player like Vardy suddenly had a dramatic jump in form. Accompanied by his suspicious plaster cast.

It was odd how they looked significantly fitter than every other team, up until stricter substance checks were introduced.

It was odd how many of their opponents openly stated that they wanted Leicester to win the league, before going on to lose to them.

It was odd how their players recovered from injuries that would normally take weeks instead of days to come back from.

It was odd how as soon as they won the title they went straight back to being mediocre also-rans.

Whether something sketchy was going on or not, plenty of people were drawing attention to the unusual things happening long before they won the title. I don't think people finding it all a bit questionable is odd at all.
I suppose we could give them the benefit of the doubt...

It's plausible that their "enhanced" recovery time was down to them harnessing their Chi?

Well it happened in Shaolin Soccer so must be true...

My goodness. That all comes across as a conspiracy theory from a very bad loser. Leicester deservedly won the title. They did have some luck for sure, but they hit upon a counter attacking system and a very rich vein of form. Vardy and Mahrez were on PEDS, Kante and Drinkwater formed the best CM partnership in the league and Morgan and Huth marshalled a back to the walls defence that was incredibly stingy. Kasper Schmeical was also probably the best keeper over the course of the season. I take my hats of to them, a fairy tale under dog story that is one of the greatest in the history of sport.

Ultimately, Ranieri did not have to do much other than keep picking the same team and keeping morale up and them believing they could do it. Once Kante left, Mahrez's head was turned and Vardy finally lost form, they were half the side. Shakespear showed that they were a decent team when he took over and went back to their championship blue print again.
