only reason he would go there is if he wants to work in London because I cannot see him going to any of the other London clubs

Yeah I could see that, I've never lived or worked in London but the more times I go for days out, trips, nights in the city etc the more I wish I had done it and worked or lived in the city when I was younger.

But still it's Wham, is London a big enough draw to manage Wham? Seriously he'll be working for Gold and Sullivan. And Ancelotti has always come across as a smart man.

Would be a strange one. Mainly because Ancelotti doesn't seem the type to go somewhere purely for the money.

It's a project of sorts I guess, but there's absolutely zero direction at the club. It seems they took the new stadium hoping that an oil rich Arab would waste billions on them trying to get them challenging, but the not so very small print shows they aren't actually a tempting prospect. They have a crap academy, no real transfer policy and barely a playing system in place.

Unless he is offered silly money I can't see someone of his standing being remotely interested, and even then I don't think silly money would tempt him.

London is a great city ( possibly the greatest )...at times. I lived there for a while, but for me, it got old fairly quick. Too many people and feels like your constantly in a foreign country. I also detest public transport...which could be a slight issue in that city!!! For entertainment though, nowhere comes close in the U.K., and I mean absolutely nowhere near. You could combine Manchester, Liverpoool, Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Dublin and Cardiff and it still wouldn't be patch on what's on offer in the 'big smoke' imo

It’s probably just that I’m looking at it from a distance, I’ve lived and worked all my life in the Home Counties, Hertfordhsire, Bedordhsire and Cambridgeshire. I’ve been working 7 days a week for nine years, I started when I was 24. But even though Imhave done ok for myself it feels as though I have played it safe. London is the big lights would have been nice to have seen them a bit more.

The guy could have his pick from Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal within a year. Not like he needs a quick job to make ends meet.

Dam Swansea....... :banghead:

Was looking forward to the moaning of West Ham fans. Now I need to wait to see the mugs disappointed again.

Agree. Can't see him taking the WHU job when there are a few much bigger jobs imminently available. I'm sure he'll just bide his time.

So west ham are stuck with dumb and dumber in charge for atleast another four years? Am i reading that right?

If they sell they have to pay a fine of somesort or a percentage of the profit they make on their shares. It was done so the daves couldn't sell off for a big profit once the deal with the os was completed.
Levy doing his stuff.

In part, i believe. We pulled out and dropped any legal challenges after certain asurances were made. One was that athletics would have to have a long term tenancy, another that the daves couldn't sell it off for quick profit. Although this may be speculation.
