Impossible to call the Bears this season. Complete Jeckle and Hyde so far. First game they played well and lost due to 1 or 2 individual brain farts. Second game they were just awful, looked like Jay Cutler's Bears on a bad day. Third game they played well again and this time managed to get over the line for the win. If week 1 or 3 Bears show up, then they've got a chance of causing an upset, if week 2 Bears show up they're gonna get killed.

I just wish this game wasn't on Thursday night. I hate night games, especially mid-week. Just not in the mood to watch football at all.

Yeah same, I love NFL Sunday, RedZone is so good to chill out with.

Plus it means tonights game is on at like 1.30am so will have to catch highlights tomorrow.

Yeah I'm in Chicago so it's 7:30 for me

Even still though, I just hate watching american football at night. I don't mind watching "English" football in the evenings because they just get on with it but given how long it takes them to get through an NFL game, I can never be bothered in the evenings. It's one thing when it's a lazy sunday lounging around all afternoon with a few beers and snacks, but on weeknights I'm just not in the mood.

Seriously what the fuck are the bears doing? Fumbled the ball twice (officially) on their first two possessions but have actually unofficially fumbled it 4 times but luckily the player was ruled down before the fumble.

The high/lowlight of the bunch was them snapping the ball from the gun while Glennon was daydreaming for some reason and not paying attention, resulting in the ball just bouncing off his knee and straight over to the packers side for yet another turnover. Beggars belief

Hopefully the NFL has the gumption to give Trevathan a length suspension. 6-10 games is in order. I'd also put a yesr one on the table, tbh. Absolutely disgraceful hit that very well could have killed Adams. Helmet to fucking crown flying through the air? Are you fucking serious? Especially when he was already going to be down? Fucking wreckless and disgusting. I could very much do without seeing that replay again.

Well I guess Bears from week 2 showed up. Seriously, Glennon has to go, he is just not good enough. It strikes me as if he gives the rest of the team a lack of confidence.

The win against the Steelers was such a positive and I really thought we could push on, I wasn't expecting a win against GB but a solid performance would've been acceptable, from what I have read and seen so far, it was just a complete shambles.

It was an absolute shit show from start to finish mate. Like you say, I fully expected them to lose, but the manner of the defeat was just embarrassing. High school kids know how to fucking concentrate so how the hell can this bunch of millionaires not pay attention? Just pathetic.

As for Glennon, he just seems like a real Jekyl and Hyde. Sometimes he throws the ball nowhere near anybody for an interception, but in his defense, when he threw perfect balls a couple of times the shitty backup receivers managed to not catch them etc. so he's really not being helped by the receiver situation.

FWIW, I actually think throwing Trubisky in now would do more harm than good. Confidence has to be low and with the receiver situation and generally just shambolic play from the whole team, I don't think switching out the QB is going to magically make everything better. Throwing him into this mess there's a strong chance they'll still be crap, in which case does the experience damage his confidence/turn the fans against him more than it benefits him in terms of learning. I'm not sure how much he can learn from playing in this team other than that the team sucks, which is evident from the sidelines anyway.

Yeah that was bang out of order. No place in the game for cheap shots like that. I was genuinely worried watching it in real time. When you heard the crack and saw his mouthgard fly up into the air and him just fall to the ground motionless it was horrific to watch. Like you say, he actually could've killed him or at least ended up paralyzing the guy or giving him permanent brain damage. I'd ban him for the rest of the season personally and that's coming from a Bears fan. I just don't want to see that kind of thing from anyone even if they're on my team.

Saints v Dolphins is absolutely awful today.
Every other play is getting a penalty flag on it.
Headsets weren't working for the QBs either during first quarter.
Both offences poor, so no shock that it's still 0-0 with a minute of first half left.

I'm the studio they were discussing the Bears and everyone agreed Glennon should now be done for the season.

I attended the draft and am also 0-4... Injuries to Howard, Montgomery, Luck and Beckham Jr haven't helped (admittedly the last two I knew about going in, so those are on me). My team hasn't stunk out the place but each opponent has just been better than me - My total opposing points has been over 50 more than anyone else has faced over the first 4 weeks!

Trevathan 2 game ban is WEAK! Awful from the NFL.

I love Deshaun Watson. Loved trading up at the time for him and love it more so now. I think we finally have ourselves a QB in Houston. Why the fuck he wasnt with the 1s in pre season and didnt start week 1 is beyond me. But at least O'Brien made the change though. Watching the offense work yesterday was fun! Hopkins finally getting back to form now that he has a QB worth a damn. Love it. The read option wrinkles keeping things honest. A pleasure to watch.

They should keep Glennon on the field for now, and let Trubisky learn the system while he waits on the sideline. I can see Trubisky being the latest in a long line of QBs who've been played before they should have been (simply because his predecessor was lousy) and beaten up because they don't get the protection they need.
