Goals flying in everywhere in these qualifiers ..
They've only conceded 15!I don't know what their defence is like (probably mediocre to poor), but with players like those, they should be scoring enough goals to get the necessary points.
I've just checked the table. Only Brazil have conceded fewer (11), but only Bolivia have scored fewer (14) than Argentina. Very strange. They've only conceded 15!
Only 2 of those played last night, messi and dimaria. And DiMaria was subbed at half. Have no idea what Sampaoli was doing here. I only saw the 2nd half but chances were created and wasted.Three draws and a loss in their last four. 16 goals in 17 qualifiers. Something's gone very wrong there.
Messi, Dybala, Aguero, Higuain (not even in the squad), Di Maria, Icardi. That talent shouldn't get those results.

Sampaoli is a good manager. He only came in 2 games ago, on the heels of the Messi retirement, so no real time to implement any tactical plan. Don't know if you watched his Sevilla team but they played some good stuff. I would hope that Poch is too wise to jump into the morass that is Argentinean football at this time. Plus, Poch is still very young and learning his craft whereas Sampaoli is like 15 years older. We should be safe...I hope.Really hope they don't try to get Pochettino in to rebuild them if they don't qualify
That pitch is unacceptable for international play...especially when our boys have to play on it.Belgian boys doing Wales, the Irelands and Scotland a good favour by racing into the lead v Bosnia. Bosnia currently the worst ranked second placed team.
Better he gets his mistakes out of his system for Belgium than for us.Massive fuckup by Verts there
