I think he is showing signs of Wengeritus.

"We [Liverpool] got close last year. We cannot get much closer than losing in a final,"

Hmmmmm.......... how about winning it. I think winning it is definately closer than losing it.

It annoys me that when we get close and fail we "spurred it" yet when any otger team does it is looked upon as a moderate success

Actually hope these jokers get a draw against Utd. That would be good for us. Failing that, a 'Pool loss would be fun for the usual giggles, but a Utd loss would probably be even better pragmatically, as they're likely to drop fewer points over the season.

A boring draw, filled with red cards and injuries please.

Don't want either team picking up 3 points. But seeing Liverpool lose would be hilarious and seeing United lose would prove how easy their start has been.

Im taking any result as a win win for us. If I had to pick a team to win I’d go for Liverpool but a draw would be the ideal result, like you say.

I really want neither side scoring. A no-score draw is most beneficial to us in the long term.

With the ridiculous build up sky have given the game I'm hoping for nothing but a boring nil nil draw. It could well happen as I suspect Mourinho will revert to type.

Mourinho will have his quicker players up front, sit off Liverpool and hit them on the break.

Its set up for a Mourinho "classic".

2-0 United.

As much as a draw would suit us, I'd actually like United to thrash Liverpool. Put Klopp and his massively overrated club in their place.

It's one of those where there are positives in every result, but what I hope for is if United win they score a bucketload and really crank up the pressure on the over dramatic one, about six or seven nil would be nice and it'll make Rawk a fun read as well.

I don't believe we can win the title playing at Wembley. For that reason cutting Liverpool and Arsenal adrift would be ideal. Yanited win please.

But it's ALWAYS the MOST ANTICIPATED game of the season EVER, don't you know?! Both teams PR departments have been working double time.

I'd imagine the odds on Liverpool keeping a clean sheet could make you a seriously rich man!

Even if they lose and we beat Bournemouth, they'd still think they're favourites against us next weekend.

Apparently Klopp is in the same bracket as Shankley, Paisley and Dalglish.

But what I want to know is... Where's Woy?

A first game against a top half of the table team (in 7th place)

Looks like they airbrushed Souey - only got an FA cup - but upset the Anfield fans in many ways.
